The Silver Lining is an upgraded tent on wheels, designed for comfort and optimal use of space. Enjoy a comfortable easy drive. Ample storage space under the bed for your bags. Our camper is well equipped. You will just need your personal Items & some groceries. It’s ready for you to enjoy the freedom of travelling scenic New Zealand at your own pace! At night you can been amazed by the southern hemisphere constellation of stars through the glass sunroof - while in your cozy bed. The camper has automatic transmission and is an easy to drive - It has a fixed double bed with comfortable mattress blankets and linen. The well-designed camper has a compact kitchen set up with good storage. A large & small chilly bin is provided for cold food and beverage. Being self-contained , with the new green sticker means you can freedom camp and make use of the self-contained camper sites throughout NZ.

Additional information

Chemical toilet and solar shower. The Camper will have a full tank of 91 petrol and is to be full when returned. Please note camper orientation / Pick up is only available from 9am 12pm - please allow 45 min approx for orientation of vehicle. ( please have licence & passport available for verification) Drop off is only avail in Wānaka by 12pm on last day of hire -self checkout available with vehicle photos submitted & any damage noted. Thanks & enjoy your NZ adventure.

Hiring rules

  • Please treat and the Campervan as your own.
  • Drive to your ability and road conditions.
  • Return camper in tidy condition and items back in their correct storage locations
  • Remove all rubbish and recycling.
  • Empty grey water and toilet at dump stations prior to drop off, Additional fee if water or waste is left in tanks or toilet.
  • No Smoking inside vehicle
  • Enjoy your adventure!
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great little campervan! I loved the stargazing roof. Drives smooth and powerful. Well equipped kitchen.

    The van is super comfortable to drive. Its not too big so it feels really safe to drive it. It has everything you need and it has a window in the roof so at night when youre sleeping you can see the stars (you can also close it so its dark then). Very cute! I rented it for a bit more than 3 weeks and can highly recommend it!

    My friend and I had a wonderful roadtrip with this van. Everything worked super well and was exactly how described! The owner Cindy was super friendly and super helpful! Highly recommend!

    Cute affordable van which has everything you need for a road trip. The owner puts effort in to make it comfy and has equipped the van with everything you need. Perfect for a roadtrip on a budget through the south island! Definitely recommend
