  The van was great. It drove really well, with cruise control being great on south island roads. The bed in the van was super comfortable. It also had everything needed for a great stay. Rodd was fantastic - really helpful and a great guy. Thank you for all of the help!

  We had a great trip round the South Island with Dude. The van is pretty basic but that what we wanted. It was super easy to drive and pretty fuel efficient. The full size bed made it a super comfy sleep. Also the van is exceptionally clean and taken care of. Dude does have some mechanical issues which means it requires oil topping up regularly. Although not an issue I do think this could have been written in the van description prior to booking. Rodd was very clear with his communications straight after booking. Also a friendly offering providing pick up and drop off. Be mindful that Rodd is about 30 minutes out of town so this does come with a small fee.

  Nous avons passé 5 semaines geniales grâce à Dude et Rodd Nous recommandons complètement et repartirions en Road trip en nouvelle Zélande avec Dude. Rodd est très sympathique, les échanges ont été très amicaux et il était disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Le van est très confortable, nous avons très bien dormi pendant les 5 semaines de location. Le matelas est épais (grâce aux recommandations de Rodd), la couette était chaude et suffisante pour les températures néo-zélandaises. La consommation en essence était basse pour une voiture de ce gabarit. La conduite est très agréable notamment du fait que ça soit une voiture automatique. Nous avons eu tout le nécessaire de cuisine pour notre séjour et avons pu profiter des aires de pic nique en toute autonomie (le petit déjeuner avec la vue sur les dauphins à Kaikoura ! ) Pour ceux qui hésiteraient car il nest pas self contained. Nous nous sommes posé la question mais ne regrettons pas notre choix. Nous avons pris le pass des Docs ainsi que des campings disponibles sur la route nous permettant de voyager confortablement et de manière plus économique. Encore merci Rodd
