Ryan's Camper (Betsy)

1992 Toyota Hiace - Certified & fully self contained Converted high top campervan. Diesel, automatic. If you're looking for and oldy but goody to start your NZ journey, then look no further! She's simple, but has everything you need to live the van life. Solar panel and inverter with usb and 2 x 240v plug charge station. Solar runs fridge and usb/plugs. No bait is allowed to be stored in the fridge. Couch folds out to comfortable double bed, with memory foam mattress topper. Comes with basic bedding (fitted sheet, duvet and pillows.) Kitchen facilities with sink, gas cooker, plenty of storage throughout the van. Van has Waste water tank and fresh water tank for the sink in the kitchen (hand pump, not electric.) Dark curtains to keep the light out with a touch of kiwiana trim. Gas bottle is provided, along with some necessities (cutlery, cups, pots and pans, plates etc.) Stretchy line with pegs provided for hanging washing and a coffee kettle (gas top) and plunger. Front and side windows have mesh you can put up if you want to keep the windows open but not let any bugs in. Very bright LED lights in the back of the van which also glow red for a nicer light on the eyes at night. one inside over the bed and one over the kitchen. Some romantic battery powered fairy lights for those beautiful nights under the stars. Outside awning along the side (not currently functioning) and another cover available to go over the boot with sides when the boot lid is open (see pictures - this is wind and light shower proof but not waterproof.) We hope you choose Betsy to be part of your journey, she will get you there, slowly but safely. While we are ok with small pets in the van, we would ask you take extra care when doing so. No large dogs. Please be respectful of ol' Betsy and also keep your fur babies safe. Pets are not included in insurance policies in NZ. Please request approval/confirmation prior to booking if you are wanting to take a pet with you. Please read insurance policy - some roads in NZ (mainly South Island) are excluded so be aware.
