Meet Homer; our pride and joy.
Homer has been fitted out to a high spec with comfort and style in mind.
The walls, floor and ceiling have been insulated to keep you warm at night, and there is a roof fan to cool you on those hot summer days.
Being a HiTop long wheel base, there is more length and height than a standard Toyota Hiace.
The timber detailing in the interior creates a warm cocoon-like feeling, that makes for the perfect sanctuary.
The LED lights and USB ports are powered by the 170w solar panels on the roof, and a 200W battery, so you should have ample power for the duration of your trip.
To the rear, the comfortable bed mattress can be packed away and converted into a seating area for lounging or dining.
While at the front, the fully functioning kitchen has a fridge, portable gas burner and a sink with all necessary kitchen utensils. 25L fresh water and greywater tank.

Additional information
3x seatbelts, Certified Self-contained for 2 people, 2 burner gas cooker, 25L freshwater and greywater tank. Homer is stocked with everything you need including Cutlery and dinnerware, solar shower, chemical toilet. Kitchen equipment and utensils, 2 burner gas cooker, fridge, chopping board, coffee plunger, and basic pantry items. There are two camping chairs and an outdoor table for you to relax in the kiwi sunshine under the retractable awning.
Hiring rules
- House Rules:
- Homer was made with a lot of love. Please look after the van like he was your own.
- No smoking inside.
- Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises. It is recommended to retract the awning if wind gust are present as they are susceptible to damage during windy conditions.
- Road user charges will be deducted at the end of the trip at a rate of 0.09c/km.
- Please NO offroad /NO beach driving
- Return Information:
- Fuel The van will come with a full tank of diesel upon departure, so please return with a full tank.
- Road User Charges are additional to your daily set rate and charged at 0.09c per km travelled.
- Finally, before bidding farewell to Homer, please leave the van in a tidy condition (inside and out) with grey and black water tanks emptied. Should you use the toilet, kindly ensure the toilet is emptied and cleaned.
- And of course, have fun!
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
