Handover: Please allow 45-60 minutes for the vehicle handover when you arrive. Driving & Parking: Always check height clearance 2.5m, especially under trees or in carparks. Off-Grid Living: Solar-powered system keeps you charged. Cloudy days may affect charging. Tech & Navigation: the van is fitted with android auto and has a number of charging ports, bring a USB cable for charging.

Hiring rules

• Return the van with a full tank of Petrol 91.
• Strictly no smoking or vaping in or near the vehicle.
• No pets.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as at handover. To ensure a seamless return, please: remove all rubbish, empty the fridge, wipe bench spaces, clean and put away dishes, sweep floors, empty and clean the toilet cassette, and waste water tank empty.
• Failure to return the vehicle clean will result in an excess cleaning fee of $100.00.
• Standard pickup/dropoff times will be confirmed with your booking.
• Hirers may travel up to 200 km per day, averaged over the hire period (e.g., 5 days = 1,000 km total). Extra distance is charged at $0.50/km, payable at the end of the hire.
• Report any damage immediately with details (who, what, where, when). If engine lights appear or in case of an accident, pull over and call Camplify on 03 668 1211, then contact us.
• No towing allowed.

• Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

  Great road trip with Obelix! The van is comfortable to sleep in even if we are quite tall. It is easy to drive and park, inside it has an excellent layout of the spaces. Matt and Jane are very nice and we have a great communication with them. Highly recommended for travelling in NZ. I will for sure contact them again if i will come again in NZ

  Excellent trip!! Our first campervan hire ever, and Matt and Jane explained everything to us really well. Felt confident setting out in Obelix. Great little set up, had everything you need, plus the extra bonus items that you don't realize you need. Cook system works fab, toilet is functional and very clean, bed comfy, drives well, super privacy, a wonderful trip!
