Jombo is a newly converted 2 sleeper van, so roomy and comfy with two amazing sunroofs to enjoy the awesome sky in New Zealand. Also with a reverse camera, and blind spot camera. Its compact size makes it easy to drive and park, so it is the perfect campervan for exploring beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand. Lulu has everything you could want for two people: - During the day enjoy the living area sitting on a couch with a table, at night time the couch easily turns into a very comfortable double bed (1.4m x 1.9m) - Table and chairs - Sink & kitchen utensils (Plates, cups, bowls, pots, pans, chopping board…) - Salt, pepper & tea. - Food pantry box - stocked with a few surprises. - Gas burner and a gas bottle full - There is plenty of under-bed storage for all your bits and pieces. - Card games. - 25L fresh and greywater tanks - Stereo with USB Recommendations - We recommend using CamperMate or Rankers to find your ideal campground and Gaspy to find the best-priced petrol stations. - If you're planning on exploring both islands check the ferry from Wellington to Picton return, with two companies - Interislander and Bluebridge. if you have any questions, feel free to send us a message, and we'll get back to you promptly. Hiring rules

Enjoy your trip, but be aware of the following rules:
EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779.
You must return the van with greywater emptied and the tank full of diesel (I'll provide a full tank).
Pets okay as long as you vacuum afterwards .
If you use the gas bottle please refill it before returning.
No smoking inside & No offroad or driving on beaches.
Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200kms a day. This is averaged out over the duration of hire. For example, 5 days of hire at 200km/day = 1000km permitted. Additional kms are charged at 20c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.
Toll roads toll should be paid within 5 days on www.nzta.govt.nz.
Please treat the van as if she were yours.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $105.00 per day
Service fee: $50.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Van had what we needed and went really well, mattress was good. Fuel consumption not great but it is an older van, well worn. Generally reasonable value and very accommodating owner.

We had an amazing time travelling around the South Island with Jombo. The van is easy to drive and provides everything you need for camping. Furthermore Luis is very gentle and helpful. He directly responded to all of our questions so that the communication before and during our journey was really good. Thanks for the great experience, Luis! If we come back, I would definitely book the van again.
