A few extras that will make your journey easier: Free Christchurch Airport or Accomodation pick up and drop off. Free and safe storage for your extra luggage or hard shell suitcases. Any advice on campsite or planning.

Hiring rules

  • 200kms per day are free additional kms will be charged at 30c/km
  • Road User Charge here ($0.09/km)
  • Strictly no smoking/drugs in van.
  • No offroad/gravel tracks (the van isn't insured for damage to the undercarriage, which is where the grey and clean water tanks are housed).
  • Pets allowed (will have to provide own sheets and blankets).
  • Never cut food with a knife in the pots or pans. Use silicone or wooden cooking utensils and avoid metal.
  • Treat it as if it was your own.
  • Tolls and parking are your responsibility.
  • Return the camper van with a full tank of fuel (Diesel), toilet emptied and cleaned (if used) and in a clean & tidy condition.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We spent 3 weeks travelling the South Island in Flora. We had the best time. The bed was big and comfortable. We could easily stand. Andy and Camilla were amazingly helpful and responsive. The van had pantry staples like tea/coffee, spices, granola and there was a little wine and chocolate treat that set up an unhealthy wine and chocolate habit! Flora is a tad sluggish up the hills but we were in no hurry so didnt push her. We had a couple of very cold mornings and the van stayed surprisingly comfortable, in part due to the warm doona, but also must be well insulated. We expected that wed feel like getting a hotel room every once in a while but never did because we were so comfy and cosy. We would happily rent from Andy and Camilla again and look forward to our next adventure.

    We had such a great experience hiring this campervan. Andy and Camilla were lovely hosts and made everything so easy from start to finish. The van was exactly as described; compact, well-equipped, and perfect for the weekend escape. It drives like a car, which made getting around a breeze. We also loved that our Labradoodle could come along for the adventure. Would definitely book again!

    I had such a wonderful experience renting a campervan here in New Zealand. Everything about the trip was enjoyable, and the campervan made it even more special. The facilities inside the campervan were very complete and well-equipped. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and convenient journey, which made traveling around New Zealand so much easier and more enjoyable. The price was also very reasonable for the quality and service provided. It offered great value for money. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Andy and Camila were incredibly helpful and responsive, always making sure everything was clear and running smoothly. What I appreciated the most was their kindness and support. They even picked me up and dropped me off, which made a big difference, especially since Im traveling from Indonesia. It made me feel very welcomed and well taken care of. Thank you, Andy and Camila, for such a great experience. I truly hope your business continues to grow and succeed in the future!

    Camila and Andy were great hosts They picked us up in Christchurch and took us back They were very responsive and helpful. They provided breakfast items and many other items which most rental companies dont Overall a great experience
