Hiring rules

• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0800 779 779
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside/ NO pets
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of the booking.
• LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 kilometres a day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire. Example: 5 days hire 5 x 200km Allowance: 1000km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at 50c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
• FUEL Return full of PETROL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• CLEANING If you don't choose 'clean de van for me' please remember to take care about:
• clean the van inside (this includes fridge, vacuum mattress, floor, seats, clean windows, cutlery, pots and pans. Also you have to wash the bedding, there is a laundry accross the road)
• clean the van outside (bugs and insects from the front, mud, dust, windows)
• NO cooking in the living/bed area.
• Minimum Hire periods vary, please refer to the calender
• If you gonna need an airport transfer after dropping off the van, please let us know in advance to organize it. Cost of transfer is $120.00.
• If you want to cross to South Island be sure to book the ferry in advance. Check availability in the followings websites:

  We had a fantastic holiday thanks to Ramiro's van. It was our first time using a campervan and we loved it. Every part of the van was well thought out. The kitchen sink was working as intended. The process of refilling and dumping water was simple. The stove had two gas containers wich lasted about 10 days (we used it approximately twice a day). The solar panel gave us more power than we needed - the fridge was always running fine and we were able to recharge our phones and cameras whenever we needed to. We did not have to use the toilet as there were always toilets available at our camping spots - though the toilet is available in the van. The only thing missing is a shower so you have to find public showers along the way. The driving felt smooth and the engine was powerful enough to reach all the spots we desired. Whenever we had an additional question regarding the van (eg. we triggered the alarm one night accidentally), Ramiro always responded on WhatsApp within an hour and helped us resolve the issue (even in evening hours).

  I had such a good experience -as a single older female I had no trouble setting up & down each day. Loved freedom camping & really appreciated the quality of the van conversion , which was also a dream to drive. I traveled for 36 days & just loved it. Thanks V much Ramiro & Camplify.
