Additional information Collection and drop off times are between midday and 14h00 or after 17h00 - I can usually be more flexible on weekends. Driving is easy with the Fiat Ducato 2.3L Turbo Diesel engine with power steering. Lucille is 6 speed manual gearbox. Cooking is on a 4 hob Cooker ('3 gas 1 electric) with separate grille on the bench unit, and, Gas Oven and if you're connected to mains, there is a microwave oven. Fridge is powered '3 ways' gas, mains, battery (battery power when driving only) Fresh water 120lt, Grey 80Lt. 20Lt Thetford Toilet cassette. Solar panels enable Lucille to be off-grid in comfort, 1 x House Batteries total 100 amp/hrs storage. Solar charged via 1 x300 watt panels. Separate Starter battery. Invertor for 12v to 240v power via battery - for laptop charging, cocktail blender,hair dryer when off mains power supply. Lap seat-belts for two in the back via the step-through cab. DVD Player/TV (no satellite TV), Radio. Air conditioning in the main cab when driving, and 12v fan when off the grid. In addition to the gas heater, an oil heater and electric heater can be provided for when you are on mains supply. Double bike carrier (NB Not Suitable for E-Bikes). We don't supply bikes - a hire option is Adventure Cycles , 2.3km away (http://www.adventure-auckland.co.nz/adventurecycles/php/index.php). RUC - Road User Charges apply. The rate is $9.00 per 100 km /or / $0.09 per Km (payable by kilometers travelled). Excess KMs apply (more than 200km travelled per day - $0.20c per excess km - avergaged out over entire rental period) RUC and Excess Kms will be calculated and payable when you return Lucille.

• No smoking or vaping, return Lucille in the same condition on pickup and report all damages. No pets.
• We pride ourselves on a clean & tidy experience. Cooking food with strong odours must be done outside, & handitowels provided are to be used for wiping excess food before washing.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  It was truly wonderful. Everything you need for your full experience while travelling by campervan. Especially the kitchenware - everything and beyond the expectation. Did not need to buy anything or worry about anything extra. The comunication and generosity of the owner was great, we really do appreciate every tip he gave and generosity of his. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a full-equiped, well maintained and very cozy campervan. Best of luck with further bookings!

  Our holiday in Lucille was excellent, with all necessities, from linen, pantry, kitchen and all camp gear, such as BBQ, and chairs etc well catered for. The vehicle was very easy to drive and manoeuvred.

  Hiring Lucille has been a wonderful experience. Gavin has been a great help from the moment we booked, answering our many questions and offering travel advice etc.. The van was clean and tidy with the benefit of many personal items available to use, from everyday cleaning products, games, music player to the dustpan & brush ... Necessities not always supplied with a rental from the large commercial concerns. Both Gavin & Lee were a pleasure to meet and hire from. Thank you both, from Dianne & Steve
