Rhoda is a modern van that is economical and comfortable. The layout has been designed to have 2 large beds. It features a kitchen accessed in the rear of the van that can be accessed with ease even when the bed is in place. Rhoda has a second additional battery and she charges as you drive. This powers a 60L fridge that is accessed in the kitchen, internal lighting and USB socket so that you can charge your devices. Rhoda the van is kitted out with 4 chairs, a table, propane cooker, pots, pans and lots of other basics you might need. Rhoda is ready for your epic New Zealand adventure! The layout has been carefully designed to make the most out of the limited space. With features like a •Double bed that converts into additional seating, a second roof bed, a table and kitchen that allows cooking inside the van with 50L of cold water on tap. •Full 12 volt electrical system for all your charging needs •Ample storage space •portable toilet •Ample head height 1.9m We also provide you with the cooking equipment and utensils plus camp chairs for dining in the great outdoors. With our linen package we provide all the fresh bed linen and pillows for your trip as well as bath towels, and hand towel, so you can pack light. (Please note, linen is $90/set) Van life never felt so good, you'll be hard pressed to find a van kitted out more than this.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Basic but today van that suited our needs for a few days away. Even our little dog enjoyed his trip away in the camper. Highly recommend Jason and Mikhala - great people to deal with!

    This was our first van trip with a 8 months old baby and we absolutely loved this van! It had everything we needed and wouldn't have thought of buying (brush for dishwashing, bin bags, salt pepper and oil, etc.). It also had solar panels so we didn't have to book camping places with electricity. It also has a screen that could be connected to the phone. Jason and Mikhala were great and fast at communicating. We would definitely recommend!

    We are a family of 4, it was my kids first time to visit South Island, I want them to experience things in a slow pace and more personal, no bus trip, no hotel/motel like we normally do. Rhoda has everything we need and we have a BLAST! We stopped and stayed whenever we want, we stop and made a hot drinks and ramen next to beautiful lakes, rivers. We sleep comfortable inside even though there are tears some nights from someone who's loosing the bet to sleep at the bottom bed haha Rhoda is not the fastest, up the long hills, other cars passed us but we don't mind, we have a good laugh and an excuse to enjoy the view :) The price is very family friendly, we still have some extra money to eat good food and shopping! Mikhala, Jason and Kevin are really helpful and friendly and replying our questions really fast. Thank you so much! We had an AMAZING holiday in South Island! Hopefully we will meet again :)
