Lulu is a custom campervan, originally made for personal use so she is set up perfectly for your adventures around NZ! Located just a 5-10 minute drive from Queenstown airport. ~ Standard NZ double bed, set up full time so no need to put it up each day ~ Full kitchen inside. Cooking is allowed inside the van, perfect for rainy days. ~ Table can be set up inside with bench seat and fridge/freezer underneath. ~ Comes stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper and oil ~ Sink with fresh water and grey water tanks. ~ Solar powered, 12V and 2 USB charging ports in the cabin (2 deep cycle batteries not connected to main van battery, has never run out of power). ~ Camp chair and table ~ Solar shower ~ Lots of lighting options including colour changing LED lights for your van raves ~ Ample amounts of storage. Overhead cupboards for clothing, food, etc. Open the boot and access two very large storage areas, enough to fit snowboards or a small surfboard. ~ Automatic transmission and 3 seats (with seat belts) in the front. Sleeps 2 very comfortably. Fully self contained with the green certification, allows freedom camping throughout NZ in designated spots. ~ optional extra: linen for bedding, blanket, towels, and face cloths Any questions please get in contact! Hiring rules

EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call me!
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
NO OFFROAD / NO Unsealed roads / NO Beach Driving
NO driving on ski field access roads. NO chains to be fitted to vehicle
NO Smoking inside
LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 180 km's a day (on average per day of trip over length of trip). After 180km's per day, you will be charged .75c per kilometre at the completion of the trip from your bond.
FUEL Return full of PETROL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van to the standard of when you picked it up. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
TOILET Toilet must be emptied and cleaned. A fee of $200.00 will be charged for failure to return the toilet clean.

Hirer must be 23 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $160.00 per day
Service fee: $100.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

LuLu was one of the best parts of our South Island holiday! She had everything we needed and more. Sophie was a breeze to work with. Even accommodated a change in date when we had an unexpected change of plans. Highly recommend!

Sophie & Lulu made our trip in NZ truly incredible! Sophie replied quickly, provided heaps of information that helped with our trip and was very understanding when it came organising pick up/drop off. Lulu, the van was very clean on pick up and had everything you need. The inside kitchen was a life-saver when it was windy or raining. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to hire a van for their trip around NZ!

My wife and I hired Lulu for a 3-week trip on the south island. The van layout was perfect for us, everything is well thought and it drives super well. Not having to bother about the doing/undoing the bed everyday is a must in my opinion. Wasn't sure about how cooking inside would feel, when we were hit by 45 mm of rain and strong winds, it confirmed it was the best choice. Well worth the price, also when comparing other options out there with bigger companies. Plus, Sophie is super nice and had good recommendations for us :) Thank you again.

Lulu is absolute perfection! This was my first overseas solo trip and Lulu couldnt have been anymore amazing. She is super easy to drive (coming from someone who normally drives a tiny Mazda 2!) and feels so homey. Sophie has her set up perfectly with so many personal touches - something you cant get with the generic and nowhere near as cute van hire companies. Sophie was absolutely amazing and gave me so many awesome recommendations and advice! I could not recommend Lulu enough - if I could take her home in my suitcase I would! Thanks again Sophie!

Couldnt recommend Lulu enough! We took her all over the stunning South Island for 12 days, and it was everything we needed. The van is super easy to drive and is very cosy, with all the basics covered! Theres great storage options below and up the top giving you plenty of room. Sophie sent us some amazing recommendations and was easy to contact. 10/10!
