Enjoy this newly converted Renault Master 2 berth camper van, with brand new camper setup, completed March 2023. Has amazing amenities for a campervan this size, including an oven, full size 150L fridge freezer and a wardrobe! Lounge area has a table that can be placed in 2 areas to enhance the kitchen bench space or use as a dining table near the rear. The lounge converts easily to two single beds, an east/west double bed (leaving 2 lounge seats available) or a full length queen size bed. The choice is yours. The shower / toilet compartment make this a truly off grid option between campground visits. Includes the following: * 2 burner hob / sink combo with glass lid * Oven and grill * 150L 12V compressor fridge / freezer * Carbon filtered kitchen tap * Thetford swivel toilet (with 19L removable cassette) * 24" Android Smart TV with Omni directional aerial - includes Netflix and Disney+ * Hertz marine stereo with bluetooth * 2 x 110aH batteries * 175W solar panel * 600W inverter * USB ports * Webasto Diesel Heater - also a 2nd outlet in the bathroom to dry your wet clothes out if needed. * Truma rapid heat hot water cylinder * 110 litre fresh water tank * 110 litre waste water tank * 2 x 4.5 kg LPG cylinders * 4 metre awning * Lots of cupboards and drawers plus wardrobe * 2 camping chairs and table We also provide: Mattress protector Sheets Blanket Pillows Towels and Bathmat Kitchen stocked with all utensils, plates, cups, rubbish bags, camp toaster, jug, bowls, laundry basket. Additional information

The Renault Master is a 2.3L turbo diesel with 6 speed AMT gearbox. It has a manual gearbox but drives like an Automatic... you just feel it changing gear as you drive. Gears can be manually changed like a tiptronic gearbox as well... handy for those big hills. It comes with an Apple CarPlay / Android head unit (easy to use Google maps!), reversing camera plus front and rear parking sensors. We are approximately 17km drive from Auckland Airport in Wattle Downs. Airport transfers may be available upon request. $40.00 each way. Hiring rules

  • No one way hires. Auckland Auckland hires only.
  • Pick up and Drop off times between 8am and sunset.. Please discuss with us due to work comittments.
  • Allow up to 1 hour for predeparture briefing (pickup at least 1 hour before sunset) and 20 minutes for drop off / departure checks.
  • No off road driving / no gravel roads / no driving on beaches
  • No Smoking or Vaping inside the campervan.
  • No Pets
  • Awning to be stowed before bad weather including high winds.
  • Inside of vehicle to be left tidy upon return.
  • Diesel to be filled up on return ($250.00 charge if not done)
  • Toilet cassette and waste water to be emptied on return ($250.00 charge if not done).
  • LPG bottles included in hire (no need to refill).
  • Road User Charges RUC (Govt Fuel Tax) at rate of 9 cents per kilometre. ($90.00 per 1000km).
  • Excess Mileage 200km average daily mileage included in daily rate (e.g 10 days 2000km included), 75 cents per km for any excess above this.
  • Late return of vehicle (without agreement); Daily rate plus $100.00 per day.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a brilliant 3 month holiday in the van. We did both the north and south islands so got to know the van very well. Martin was excellent to deal with and his communication and support was very helpful - great addressing any small questions we had about the van or travelling in NZ. The van itself had everything we needed. It drove well and its roadholding was safe and secure on the often wet winding roads of New Zealand. It has aged slightly since the photos in the Camplify advertisement were taken and isn't quite as white inside but we were relieved about this as initially were a bit worried about keeping it sparkling given our hiking gear and the sometimes wet and muddy nature of NZ. The layout works well for 2 people with ample room. The large windows are awesome as you always had a view from inside and didnt feel claustrophobic or boxed in from the beautiful scenery around us most nights. We left the bed partially made up during the day (to save on the daily routine of making and unmaking the bed) and configured the cushions to slide between a sort of lounge by day and bed at night. All up a great van and our thanks to Martin and Cindy for making it all so easy.

    The entire process was easy and Martin was great to deal with. The van was everything as explained and expected. Martin's videos made life easy when operating and rearranging things. I did almost 2700km completing a lap around the North Island. I had a couple of hiccups but Martin addressed them immediately and to the best of his abilities given my distance away. Highly recommend Martin and his van. Thanks again for an amazing holiday!

    We had an amazing two weeks in Martins Pac Van! It had everything we could have wished for and more. It was great to have a small shower, it really opens up a lot of oppertunities for freedom camping or just rinsing off the salt after swimming in the sea. It truly felt like a luxury camping experience. Martin is a great guy also, very nice and relaxed. He gave us a good intro to the van and helped us on the trip when needed. Cant recommend enough!

    Extremely positive experience from time of booking.. communication friendly and informative. Martin was a pleasure to deal with, the van is extremely well equipped for freedom camping. Comfortable and clean. Would def use again . Cheers John and Lorraine
