Betsy is the perfect caravan to hook up and take around NZ to explore our beautiful country. Or take her somewhere that you can park up and unwind. Delivery option available. Originally an Oxford Rambler, but recently fully gutted and reconverted to become a comfortable home away from home. The revamp included full insulation (so she is still warm during the winter), heating, timber floors, a bathroom with shower and toilet, full kitchen setup (fridge with freezer, decent size sink, oven and gas cooktop), solar panel and battery, USB outlets*, decent storage, fixed bed and U-shaped seating area. Despite the exterior needing some TLC Betsy still gets a lot of great attention for the retro shape and how spacious she is. She is also super easy to tow and back up. Hire price is discounted for following reasons: - USB outlets not working --> You can charge your phone either when driving by using the car outlet, or if you park at a powered campsite then you can connect to the power as the caravan has power points as well. This issue should be fixed within the next few weeks. - Fully set up to be self-contained. Waiting on certification. - Toilet auto flush button not connected --> Still easy to wash things down by using the shower head - I will show this upon pickup ;) This issue should be fixed within the next few weeks. - Exterior paint to be redone This is a recently completed project hence why there are some teething issues that need addressing and therefore the cheaper hire price. I have already completed a few road trips including a 2-week trip and the above issues were minor.
