The Roadship is perfect for getaways! The vehicle is automatic, and has plenty of power to stay up the the speed of the traffic. Being a more compact motorhome, its much easier when parking, and setting up in your spot for the evening. When you arrive, its literally a matter of turning on the gas, and dropping the step down, and your good to go. The rear living area is spacious, and surrounded with panoramic windows, to maximize your views. The kitchen comes well equipped with 4 burner gas stove, large fridge & all the necessities. Plenty of internal storage space internally including pantry & wardrobe. External storage contains camp chairs, & table. A BBQ can be made available on request.

Hiring rules

  • 1. 14 Day Minimum Hire
  • 2: Soft Luggage and Bedding only to be stored inside no bikes, fridges, hard luggage etc
  • 3: Drivers must be over the age of 25
  • 4: Strictly NO SMOKING in the Motorhome or under the awning. A deodorization fee will be charged and may result in loss of bond.
  • 5: No pets allowed
  • 6: Vehicle to be returned with full tank of diesel and toilet cassette empty and cleaned. ($250.00 surcharge applies if toilet if returned dirty)
  • 7: BBQ to be returned clean ($100.00 surcharge applied if returned dirty)
  • 8: Sealed Roads Only No gravel or unsealed roads permitted
  • 9: Road User Charges are additional and are charged by Camplify on return on the RV 0.09c per km eg: $9.00per 100km
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    My wife and I were very lucky to be able to spend our honeymoon in/with the Road Ship. The campervan was the perfect size to discover both the North & the South Island. We could fit on all the roads and parking spots (even in Wellington!), but we still had plenty of storage and living room inside. We often got "jealous" and/or inquisitive remarks by other campers at campsites. Greg & Catherine are very lovely people who not only helped us out perfectly in a professional manner, but also in their own personal way: giving us a place to stay when we returned, cooked dinner for us and sharing stories and tips. We are tremendously glad that we rented this campervan through Camplify, both for the ease-of-use & communication via Camplify, but also for giving us the opportunity to see New-Zealand in such an amazing campervan and to get to know Greg & Catherine. The only downside I would say, is that we had to give the camper back after 4 weeks :D

    This was our first time using a motorhome and was the best trip we've ever taken. The Roadship is perfect size for a couple, we took it from Auckland all the way down the west coast of the South Island and back and it was a dream. Plenty of power compared to other larger motorhomes and with the solar powered fridge and phone chargers, and the gas powered cooker and BBQ we only needed to stay at powered campsites a few times the whole trip. Greg walked us through the whole process of how everything works at the handover so if you've never used a motorhome before don't be put off.
