Italian-built luxury for your New Zealand road trip Hi, we're Lauran and Nikki, a Dutch family who fell in love with New Zealand and now share our motorhome with travellers who want to experience this country properly: freely, comfortably, and at their own pace. Laika is a 2023 Laika Ecovip L3019, a premium Italian motorhome built on a Fiat Ducato with a smooth 9-speed automatic gearbox. If you've travelled in a camper before, you'll feel the difference straight away. Laika is the genuinely luxurious end of the spectrum, with the craftsmanship and finish of one of Europe's finest motorhome brands. At just under 7 metres she's spacious enough for four to truly relax, yet still easy and comfortable to drive. Sleeping (no bed-making at night): Two single beds in the rear that convert into one large double: your choice, night to night An electric drop-down double bed above the front lounge Sleeps 4 comfortably, with proper, breathable mattresses. The beds has fall protection for children also. We use that for our little son all the time.
