This RV has been our little home on wheels for the past six months while we explored the South Island and parts of the North. It’s been an incredible way to live, and this truck gave us everything we needed to enjoy that freedom. We’ve recently paused our travels so our son can return to school (and us returning to the world of renting and working… yikes). We’re hoping to get back to the road again after the winter, but for now, we’d love to share this lifestyle with others. If you’re looking for a warm, comfortable, well‑loved motorhome to experience the joy of NZ travels, consider this one. We hope it brings you as many great memories as it did for us.

- comes with installed is 2000W power inverter (provides 220V from batteries) through 3 power outlets. Same outlets provide 220V when plugged to shore power - house batteries are charged when driving, via 2x solar panels or when plugged into shore power via 7-stage charger - propane heater located in middle of the house provides warm comfort fast - can lend you Instapot that we use often while in the camper (can run from just the batteries, but shore-power is recommended) -dimensions - 6.9m long, 3.2m high, 2.3m wide - batteries are new, 12AVH - solars are 220W + 160W = 380W, great charging when its sunny - motor is reliable 3.6L diesel.. runs great but let traffic pass and be ready to go to 2nd gear climbing bigger hills, I recommend not going over 90km/h, the key is to be on holiday, no rush driving this truck - Dyson stick vacuum cleaner will be included / integrated next to the latter) (not on pictures sorry as we use it at home at present) - queen-size bed above cabin, twin-single(?) bed in kitchen area, king-size bed in the back. The back area has 2 places for the table and lots of configuration is possible - 9KG gas bottle runs the house with second bottle ready in the external back storage (which provides lots of extra room). In there is bunch of camping equipment there like chairs, tables, outside carpets, etc - bike rack is also available - mounts to the tow bar and hold 2 bikes comfortable (3 maybe) - fresh water tank is 140L (I think), gray water is 20L less, toilet has its own 20L tank, hot water boiler tank is also 20L and warms up for shower under 10 mins. Water/toilet lasts 3 people 3 days, 2 days to be safe - nice TV mounted to an adjusting arm includes Chromecast.. We never used the satellite for TV channels but it works (we ran Starlink when we travelled)

Hiring rules

  • No smoking in inside;
  • No offroad or driving on dodgy roads not suited for a truck;
  • Driver is to be experienced driving a manual transmission;
  • Bring vehicle back with fuel tank full (as it was when picked up);
  • RUC charges apply at 9c per km travelled;
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
