This van is perfect for families who want to get away. Right behind the drivers seat is 4 seat belts with table which is perfect for younger children (we know, we have 2 of them). Amenities: She comes with all the modern amenities, having a kitchen and full bathroom. All the basic equipment for cooking is provided, including an outdoor BBQ should you wish to cook outside. She has a awning which is perfect for sitting outside or providing additional sun cover on those hot days. Sleeping: She has capability of sleeping 5 comfortably however, with 4 you have the luxury of being able to leave the fixed table and seating area up. The back seating area features a fixed bed with a 'real' mattress to add comfort to any trip. Driving: She is a manual so you should be experienced in driving a manual prior to hiring her. However, if you would like to hire her to stay at a local camp ground and not drive her we are happy to drop off and pick up from any local sites within the Whangarei district (You will need to arrange and pay for the site). Pick up and drop off: We are happy for you to pick up from us in Maungtapere and can offer safe uncovered car storage while you are away if needed. We are also happy to drop off to you within the Whangarei area for a small fee. Coming in from the Whangarei airport, no worries, we can meet you there, please discuss this with us when booking to ensure we are able to meet your needs.

Hiring rules

  • Please empty the grey water and septic tanks prior to returning.
  • No need to refill the fresh water.
  • Please return with a full tank of diesel
  • Please return clean and tidy as you received her.
  • Please remove all personal rubbish
  • No smoking
  • Please discuss the possibility of pet travel when you apply to hire her. This will be negotiated prior to hire.
  • No towing
  • Please inform us immediately of any damage that needs attention.
  • Additional charges
  • .9c per km used for Road User Charges
  • Any tolls are the responsibility of the hirer
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Often on the way home from a holiday someone always says " gee I'm looking forward to my own bed " .Not this time. Great van with a really comfy bed.

    We had a great holiday in this van, Tracey and Dan were super accommodating to us after we had a last minute cancellation for another van in Kerikeri. We are super grateful that Tracey and Dan saved our trip by letting us hire their van and even dropping and picking it up from Kerikeri. The van it self was easy for my husband to drive, had everything we needed and the bed is super comfy. We highly recommend

    Great thanks the van drove very smoothly and was easy to navigate the camp site. Everything worked very well and made our weekend away very enjoyable. Lovely people who understand family logistics and challenges.
