Hiring rules

  • The Rules of the Road:
  • Driving Experience: Hirers must be 25 years or older and fully confident operating a 5speed manual transmission.
  • Prohibited Areas (Strictly No OffRoad tracks or beaches):
  • Driving is permitted on sealed roads and wellmaintained gravel NZ legal roads only.
  • No beaches, sand dunes, or offroad tracks.
  • SmokeFree: No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the van at any time.
  • Pet Policy: We are petfriendly! Small pets are welcome by prior negotiation.
  • SelfContained Freedom Camping: This van is certified selfcontained with a fixed toilet, allowing you to enjoy freedom camping in designated areas.
  • Safety First: If any dashboard warning lights appear, please pull over safely and call us or Camplify immediately.
  • Return Condition: Please return the van with a clean & tidy interior and a full tank of fuel so it's ready for the next adventure.
  • If you use the toilet, on return it must be clean and empty. It's only fair ;)
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had an amazing experience renting the van from Lee. He is incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The van was in great condition, reliable, and perfect for our trip around New Zealand. We would definitely recommend it! Thanks again

    My kids and I had a fabulous holiday in this van. It exceeded my expectations. A great feature was having a solar powered fridge, which makes life easy with young ones. Handles well on the roads and compact enough to manouver in busy car parks. Would definitely hire again for another road trip.
