Sharky is a long wheel base Toyota Hiace that comfortably sleeps 2 people. She's got a battery for charging all devices, a fridge for storing all the food you'd need, a most importantly a cafetiere. We've spent a lot of time on the interior so she feels more like a home on wheels rather than just a van that you can sleep in. She drives perfectly and has spacious front seats for the long journeys. Shes flown through her COF recently with zero issues so you can have complete peace of mind when renting her. She's not currently green stickered but can be taken almost anywhere as she also has a toilet and fully plumbed sink.
Van is located in Warkworth area outside of Auckland. If you are coming from the city we can arrange pick up from Silverdale or if needed Auckland central, small cost included, just let us know!

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Message OwnerSharky is owned by Alex and Sam. We bought the van in 2025 with a mind to finally make a camper that had a long enough bed for Sam to sleep in! (hes 65) We took our time with it, using reclaimed wood and tiles sourced locally for our kitchen cabinets and made all of the furnishings ourselves :) it was a labour of love and were so proud of it.
We love taking Sharky away for short and long trips into the Aotearoa nature and we hope anyone else who gets the opportunity to loves her as well. Happy camping!
