A few things before you get started -its lower and wider then your average car the side mirrors are a helpful indicator -Gas can be swapped at pretty much every Petrol station, I'll refund you -No wifi, don't be scared sometimes it does us humans good -the toilet hold less then you would think, maybe around 2 days max for 4ppl. NZ has an incredible amount of public toilets - going up or down hill the gears might help, just tap the gear stick to the left or right -several rainy days watch the battery, try charging electronics during the day or while driving -bring a speaker or aux cable (for radio in the back) to enjoy good sounds -if water pump keeps running, tank is nearly empty. please switch it off on the switchboard and only switch back on while using water or when tank refilled -camper mate app is super helpful for all different kind of Motorhome and camping needs

Hiring rules

  • No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
  • Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
  • No smoking inside
  • Pets only upon application
  • No festivals
  • Hirer age restrictions 21
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
  • Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you’ll risk a cleaning fee
  • Pickup / dropoff times are to be arranged
  • No freecamping it’s and expensive fine if you do, but the good news is there is Freedom camping all around New Zealand
  • Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required. I’m sure we can find a fair solution for both parties.
  • Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 03 668 1211 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
  • Cooking gas can be refilled from petrol stations and keep the receipt
  • Payment of a deposit is required, otherwise I may cancel it.
  • Road User Charges are additional to your daily set rate and charged at 0.09c per km travelled
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
