'Lothlórien' is an easy to operate, well resourced and a certified self contained RV/ Motorhome with all the expected modern features, safety and comfort of a 2025 model. Vehicle: 2.3L turbo diesel, automatic transmission (Tiptronic 6 speed manual shift option). Includes features such as air conditioning, handsfree bluetooth stereo with AUX/ USB input, built in navigation, reversing camera with audiovisual sensors, ABS braking, cruise control, automatic lane/ high-beam/ blindspot assist (easy to turn on or off). 100L Fuel tank capacity with an economical 1000km average range per tank. Internal access from cockpit to cabin for ease or when the elements are challenging. Living area: Purpose built kitchen, reasonable sized sink and built in water filter, x2 gas burner hobs fed by easy to access 4kg LPG bottle, spacious 83L Fridge/ freezer, mains powered Microwave oven. 60L fresh water tank, 45L grey water holding tank. Includes cookware and dinning ware, stovetop espresso maker, plunger and whistling kettle. Pantry items include instant coffee, tea, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Gallery styled lounge seating with adjustable dining table that converts to either 2x single beds or 1x queen bed. 24 inch LED Smart tv with USB input, DVD player and sound-bar on extendable/ adjustable arm, able to be viewed from bed/ lounge seating or from the kitchen. Spacious toilet and shower area, easy to operate. Internal touch screen control panel for all electrics and for monitoring power consumption, solar power gain or draw, fresh water and grey water tank level. Built in diesel heater/ air conditioning. Internal storage. Driving the motorhome will charge the battery, as too will the roof mounted 200W solar panel. The house battery stores 1000hours capacity of internal lighting to give a scale of held charge. Seamless indoor/ outdoor flow, 3.7m easy to use awning/ external shade. Dashboard sunshade and Internal privacy/ climate control solar window coverings provided. Note: The motorhome can be set up to draw both mains power and water direct from utilities when parked at campsites or private residence. All these connections are supplied free as you need them. Linen hire ($25.00) includes bedding, pillows and towels. Very happy to field any questions and work with you around your booking requirements. Off road parking and storage for personal vehicles/ excess luggage is provided at base address for any length of rental. Happy to accommodate other pick up and drop off options by discussion. Hiring rules

• Hirer/ driver (21 or older on FULL licence).
• Pets (very open to make this work, by discussion).
• Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
• Kilometre limit (500km per day) *Unless pre discussed.
• No offroad.
• No Beach Driving.
• No Extended gravel or unsealed roads (Unless pre discussed*).
• No ski field roads (unless pre discussed*).
• No festivals (Unless pre discussed*).
• No subletting.
• No driving under the influence.
• Motorhome/ RV must return cleaned or risk a cleaning fee of NZD$250.00 in additional to Service fee.
• Road User Charges (NZD$9.50/ 100 km) will be charged upon returning vehicle. This charge is at cost as if you are paying for your own road user charges.
• Fuel tank full on return (otherwise service fee of NZD$150.00 + cost of fuel will be charged).
• LPG cylinders are to be filled with gas (otherwise service fee NZD$150.00 + cost of LPG will be charged).
• An administration fee of NZD$50.00 will apply for unpaid toll notices or any traffic infringements.
• Grey (waste) water tank to be emptied before return or administration fee NZD$80.00 will be charged.
• Waste cassette to be emptied and rinsed before return or administration fee NZD$200.00 will be charged.
• No smoking/vaping inside the van or under the awning (or deodorisation fee of NZD$395.00 will be charged on return).
• No cooking fragrant foods inside the van (or deodorisation fee of NZD$395.00 will be charged on return).
• BBQ to be cleaned on return if applicable (NZD$150.00 surcharge if returned dirty).
• Surcharge for late return NZD$350.00 and daily rate on the given day.
• Any broken or damaged items as hired will incur a fee equivalent to new replacement at current market cost if not covered by elected insurance.
• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 03 668 1211
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.

  We spent 10 days travelling through the North Island and had an awesome experience. The van was spotless, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Matthew was excellent, and he was quick to respond before and during our trip (and we booked at the very last minute!) Solar meant the van always had power which made everything much more simple and stress free. Any time we stopped everything was ready to go! Even though our trip was during a rainstorm that lasted several days, we were completely dry, warm, and comfortable the entire time. I would absolutely hire again and highly recommend this van to anyone wanting an easy, reliable and very comfortable trip!

  We had a wonderful holiday in Lothlorien! Me, my partner and our dog. Amazing new camper van with all the conveniences and appointments you could dream of. Very comfortable bed too! Matthew and Micaela are great hosts and I highly recommend Lothlorien for your camping holiday.

  The van was brand new, first hire. Easy to drive, went like a rocket, doesnt hold up traffic. Matthew had pickup and return all organised, great van for a couple especially if you are planning a long trip.
