Hiring rules
- Campervan Rental Terms and Conditions
- Rental Regulations
- • No smoking / vaping inside.
- • No cooking inside the van (use gas stove/charcoal barbecue provided).
- • No pets allowed.
- • No festivals.
- • No speeding note that speeding fines and infringements are payable by the hirer.
- • No driving whilst intoxicated.
- • No offroad driving / beach driving.
- • Only named drivers are to be driving the vehicle at any time.
- • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older with full drivers licence.
- • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises and not left open when the van is unattended.
- Fuel and Road Usage Charges
- • The campervan comes with a full tank (DIESEL) and must be returned with a full tank (receipt required).
- • 200km per day are included, after that $0.35 per km will be charged.
- • Road User charges are additional to the daily rental rate and charged at 0.09c per km.(Distances are calculated with pre and posthire checklist).
- Cleaning Policy
- • Ensure the van is returned clean.
- • Failure to sufficiently clean will incur a cleaning fee of $120.00.
- • Grey water must be emptied before returning.
- • Toilet must be emptied & cleaned before returning.
- Pickup and Dropoff Information
- • Standard pickup / dropoff times are Mon Thurs 10:00 17:00 & Fri Sun 09:00 17:00
- • Airport Pickup/dropoff only available over weekends & public holidays.
- • Handover & drop off takes approximately 1 hour. (video clips can be supplied to show the setting up of certain items please provide your whats app number at time of booking).
- Damage and Emergency Procedures
- • Damage of items belonging to the van need to be paid for.
- • Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.
- • Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on.
- • Contact Camplify immediately on 03 668 1211 and then contact me!
- • If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 03 668 1211 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Jacqui 5.0This was the perfect van for our weekend away. Everything you needed was supplied and super easy to use. The van drove well, no issues at all. Comfy bed and very warm on cold nights. Recommend taking an extra chilly bin as the fridge is quite small. Melissa and Henk provided great instructions and always quick to respond. Would hire again.

Gareth 5.0My wife and I spent a month traveling around the South Island in this wonderful van. It was exactly what we wanted from a van and made our inaugural van life trip so easy. Equipped with cooking essentials. Comfy bed and high quality bedding. Plenty of storage which helped to keep a small space organised. Solar power enough to power fridge, lights and device charging - did not fail us. Van runs very well. Thoughtful touches to start off our supplies (e.g gas for stove, toilet paper, laundry detergent, salt and pepper, tea/coffee). Melissa and Henk were very responsive and friendly before and during the rental period. Thank you both very much!!
