Splendid trip. Irshad and the van were both wonderful

We had SUCH a lovely holiday in the trusty trout. We are a family of 5; two parents and three young children and we were able to all travel and sleep very comfortably. We spent three weeks travelling around the south island. The van has everything you need to be self contained. It's a very reliable vehicle, never making strange sounds or difficulties. We stayed at a mix of freedom camping spots and holiday parks and couldn't have been happier. We cooked most of our meals in the back and never ran out of propane. Clean up was easy as the van holds so much water for the tap usage. At night, we were able to keep the lights on in the van and charge our phones without worrying about the battery as the van is also on a generator. The only issue we had was that the power cord stopped working (to use at powered sites). It didn't really bother us as we didn't need heat at night. Ishrad offered to have the van serviced at whichever town we were passing through. He also offered to pay for holiday parks to accomodate for the inconvenience. We chose not to fix it, as again, it wasn't a problem - but had we wanted to, he would have made it very easy to do! Communication with Ishrad was so easy - we used whatsapp to communicate and he always answered my messages within the hour! Pick up from the airport was a breeze as was drop off. It was a wonderful holiday with a trustworthy vehicle to see the country and rest our heads at night. I would absolutely hire this van again!

Although a little on the old side , The Flounder behaved perfectly on our well over 1400 Km trip. Well equipped for this class of van we only added a few extras to make our trip more comfortable There were three in our party(2 adults and a 9 year old) so we left the beds in place for almost all of our trip and used the 3 front seat set up. This worked really well for us as we stayed on pre booked mainly Top 10 parks and used their facilities for our dinners we cooked for ourselves. Dont expect loads of room or luxury. But if you want a reliable functional camper then The Feisty Flounder will do you proud.

We had an amazing 13-day trip around the South Island in Alis van! The unlimited mileage and competitive price were what first caught our eye, but the experience exceeded our expectations. We were really pleased with the setup; unlike many other listings, everything was provided at no extra costchairs, bedsheets, towels, and a full kitchen kit. The van is the perfect size for two people, and honestly, we wish we could have spent more time in it. Ali was a fantastic host, very accommodating, helpful, and just a great guy overall. If you're planning a long road trip and don't want to worry about hidden fees or distance limits, this is the van to book. Highly recommend!

The van and service from Irshad and family was great. Van was reliable and easy to set up beds etc. Irshad was responsive with questions. I would hire again.

We loved our holiday in the Mighty Mullet! Irshad was friendly, helpful and prompt with all communications and instructions. He genuinely wants people to have a good holiday and enjoy their time in the van. We will definitely be booking again. Thanks Irshad!

We had an amazing time in Irshads van during our trip around the South Island. The van was the perfect size for 3 of us and it had everything we needed. Irshad was very helpful and I wouldnt hesitate in recommending hiring from him!
