The van was great but we might have had a bit more explabatiins when we picked it up: we didnt know we could sit inside the van Appart from that, it was top!

We had a great time travelling around new Zealand in this van! The van was perfect for what we needed and had no issues. Oli was great to communicate with, a few times over the trip I had to message him and he replied instantly. Definitely recommend the van and Oli if you are planning to travel to new Zealand

Our first campervan touring experience and we had a really great time exploring the beautiful landscapes of south island in Olis very reliable van, highly recommended to book. The car had so much more facilitation than we expected like portable solar panels that were so much useful each morning to charge multiple phones at the same time. The sun reflector came very handy for wherever we parked in sun for long of woke up late. I had doubts that the van will be smaller for my partner ( who is 6 feet ) but still took it for easy maneuvering, To our surprise it had all the space for two of us to comfortably sleep. Thanks to clever side fitting of the sink/tanks unlike some similar sized cars with back fitted configurations which we observed during our trips. So even if you are 6ish tall book with full confidence. The van never gave us any trouble in the 2000+ km trip. It started with one push on the button and everytime drove like a charm with good stability even at 110kmpl on highways. Once we had a little hiccup where a right part of the rear bumper hung loose but we pulled over and my partner pushed on the clip system and it was good for the rest of the trip. It efficiency is 12 -14 kmpl which is very good for its weight. The van has so many glove boxes/ storage space that you keep discovering for first few days, one cannot resist appreciating japenese forward thinking on functionality. Being from 2006 -2007, the car music system will need aux to plug in music just in case you are savvy on it. We had a portable speaker so never tried it. Oli has furnished car with very good 4 inches mattress, the blankets and duvet were pleasantly warm and there were 2 bedsheets with the whole set. The van is optimally equipped with a 2 kg cooking gas bottle that gives 10-12 hrs of cooking time on single burner which is quite a lot but still keeping a note of places where you can refill it will be handy as there aren't too many places, most stations do swapable 9kg ones. We refilled it once in mid trip in cromwell and we were fine for the whole 2 weeks trip. Some good practices for all renters- If you are charging any device by keeping ignition on but the engine off, never forget to unplug the portable fridge first else you risk discharging the battery level below what's required to start the car. Accidently don't stuff things near fridge's air mesh, otherwise it's efficiency decreases. A lot of campsite doesn't get sealed tar road to the very end and its advisable to drive very slow on them as ultimately it's a van with added weight to it. We noticed a lot of traveller heating up their cars parked with engine running on. Thought NZ is pretty windy place, that's still a gamble with life as CO is a very cheeky gas. We had best of our time in this lovely van and will be surely be booking again on our return to this beautiful country. Highly recommend to book from oli for your memorable south island trip. I had the best time in Oli's #7 van! It was the perfect vehicle for exploring the beautiful New Zealand countryside. It was comfortable to drive, spacious, and I felt extremely safe and secure throughout my trip. Oli and his son Toby were incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. This was my first solo camping trip, so I was a bit nervous, but they provided all the information and advice I needed for an excellent experience. During my stay, there was a weather warning, and I really appreciated that Oli reached out to give me a heads-up since I hadnt been watching the news. His response time to messages was impressively fast, and the cherry on top was being able to arrange a drop-off in Dunedin, which saved me so much time at the end of my trip. Highly recommend Olis vans for anyone looking for a safe, reliable, and well-supported adventure in New Zealand!

We didn't use the van as a camper van as my wife had a recent injury that made this impractical. The van handled well, was easy to drive and comfortable. We did use the fridge throughout, which was great. Would be happy to hire again from Oli.

Our holiday was great because we made it great, but the van was far below expectations. I shouldn't have choosen a vehicle with so few photos and just one review, but I trusted too much in Oli's marketing skills. Things we found unacceptable: 1) We found that one side door was broken and unusable with no previous notice or compensation. It was much worse considering it was the door of the fridge side, making so much more unconfortable to access to it. 2) The car was terribly dirty. Maybe acceptable for a 20yo backpacker, but absolutely not for us. We had to clean it to be able to sleep in and we have returned it much cleaner than we found it. 3) The left windshield wiper didn't work at all. 4) The A/C didn't work at all, making very exhausting the hot days. 5) The duvet was very thin and no hot water bags (as promised in the profile), so the cold nights were freezing. 6) The frigde uses the only lighter connector of the car, so it's impossible to charge any phone or device while you are driving if you want to use the fridge. 7) That only charger stopped to work at some point, probably because a fuse. So finally no fridge and no charger. Things that can be improved: 1) It has no sense to have a fridge that doesn't work with the car stopped. Normally you stop in a camping and you open the fridge to cook, and then the fridge will be warm the rest of the night. In my opinion the fridge has only sense with a secondary battery. 2) The reversing camera doesn't work 3) The way to access the storage is very uncomfortable, specially the rear one, when you need to move all the matress to access. 4) It's very difficult to take out the water and the grey water containers and very easy to brake the sink pipes. 5) The sink drain seemed to be broken and glued in a way that a lot of water remains always in the sink, so you need to wipe it all the time if you don't want bad smell. Maybe you can think that this was a cheap rental so you can not expect that everything should be perfect. But after the trip I checked the price of the same car with Elements RV World and SpaceShips Rentals, and it was considerably cheaper and considerably more professional. My bad, I should have checked it before, but I trusted the idea that Camplify is always cheaper and nicer. I was wrong.

It has been a wonderful compagnon during my roadtrip on the South Island. The infrastructure is good and the distances duable if you're driving alone. The journey was just as beautiful as the destination. I experienced the freedom to the fullest. Cheers!
