The van was great, really well setup and everything you would need for a trip around NZ. The experience ended a bit sour as the owner charged me $80 to send a few items we'd forgotten in the van back to Auckland. I later found out that it only cost $8.80 in postage... I also warned him that there was a slight chance I may have gotten a parking ticket and to let me know, and I would send him the money. He then tried to get me to send him $80 for this even though nothing had arrived yet. I also realised I forgot a new bluetooth speaker in the van and never heard back about it. Disappointing end to a good trip. The van is great, I'd be worried about the owner's honesty if anything more severe had gone wrong.

Hi Alphonse, thank you so much for your kind words about the van! We are absolutely thrilled to hear it was the perfect setup for your New Zealand adventure and that you enjoyed your travels. Regarding the items left behind, we were more than happy to help get those back to you. The $80 fee we agreed upon covered not just the postage, but also the time and care taken to securely package your belongings and the special trip to the post office to ensure they were on their way to Auckland quickly. On the bluetooth speaker, I sincerely apologise if my previous message didn't come through! I did a thorough turnover and clean of the van immediately after your hire, but unfortunately, no speaker was found. Since then, the van has been out with other guests, so I'm very sorry it hasn't turned up. We truly value the honesty you showed regarding the potential parking ticket, too! We love hosting travelers like you and are so glad that, overall, you had a wonderful trip exploring our beautiful country. Safe travels on your next journey!

Amazing, the van is such a classic NZ van. None of that fake Jucy new trash. If you want an iconic van experience this is it. She ain't fast, she ain't sexy, definitely has some quirks but 10/10 would recommend. Cam is a local legend as well and was super easy to work with.
