We had the absolute best weekend in Gavan! The owners have thought of everything you could need and more. From thoughtful touches like a thermos and hot water bottles, to the little things you don't even think to pack it was all there waiting for us. The van itself is spacious, well-designed, and super easy to set up when you are converting it from the table and benches to the queen size bed. There's more storage than you'd expect, which meant two of us never felt cramped. The bed is very warm even on a chilly Tekapo night and very comfortable - our 12-year-old declared he slept better than he does at home, which says it all! The fridge/freezer combo is a real highlight for a camping trip, keeping everything fresh without any fuss. Communication from the owners was super fast and friendly, and all of the handover instructions were clear and easy to follow. We had never had a van weekend before this and safe to say, we are absolutely converted - but Gavan has set the bar very high and will be the only one we rent! Thank you for an amazing weekend; we're already thinking about our next booking.
