Angie was an absolute life saver with us. We had issue with a first van and hers was the best thing we could have hope for! Amazing communication and very clean van. Super easy to drive and fill/re-fill. Id highly recommend Angie to everyone that want to have the best trip of their life in NZ!

We had a great time at Wanaka in this Camper. Everything we needed was there and Angie was lovely and gave us all the information we needed. Highly recommend.

KT Perry was great for my family of 4. The back bed is seriously so comfortable, I had better luck sleeping in it than I did in most our AirBnBs! There were a few things that need repair, namely some of the sun shades, but most of it was cosmetic stuff that was inconsequential. The van ran great and didnt seem to do bad on gas mileage at all. Angie was warm and kind and answered all of our questions promptly. Would definitely do again!

Angie was amazing and her communication was easy. The van itself was amazing - we unfortunately damaged the door but the process so far has been easy whilst waiting for the insurance.

Lovely comfortable van, had everything we needed for a great holiday exploring. Angie was amazing with her communication and help and lovely to deal with. Recommend!

We had the most positive experience with Angie + KT Perry! This was our first time with a motorhome and Angie made sure we had a comfortable, safe, and fun time. Angie was available and responsive before and during our trip to answer all of our questions and really hold our hands along the way when we needed her. We did a 10 day hire and didnt want it to end. We chose to hire with Angie because of the excellent reviews we read about her, and our own personal experience absolutely lived up to the expectation. We felt so taken care of by Angie and highly recommend hiring any of her vehicles.

Lady Gaga was perfect for our trip in the South Island. She was spacious and had all the things we needed. Bedding was comfortable and everything was easy to use. Angie was very flexible and collocation was great! Thank you

A terrible RV experience. Motorhome hire from Angie Whiston through Camplify from 10 February 2026 to 23 February 2026. This is a warning to fellow travelers. At the time of booking we believed all the 5 star reviews, however 4 problematic vans out of the 7 that Angie manages indicate a clear problem with the management and ongoing maintenance. Van 1 (KT Perry which is the van we hired) had numerous problems (air conditioning unit in cabin not working, 3 quarters of the power supply to the van not working , the fridge only cools effectively when plugged to a power source, broken dining room table, broken bin, ripped back of camping chair, missing crockery and plenty of cosmetic repairs required). Our travelling companions did not have a van for the first two days and had to travel with us. Van 2 (Taylor Swift) was the hired van by our friends but never provided. The van was in repairs for the first two days then further problems rendered it unusable. They were offered Van 3 ( Johnny Farn-Van) this had a missing roof hatch in the toilet cubicle, it was covered on the inside with plastic and tape which promptly filled with water and leaked inside the van. They were requested to take it for repairs (plastic cover on the outside) and are still waiting for reimbursement. Van also had a broken awning pole, side access hatch unable to be opened, missing screws in their BBQ (unable to be used). At the time of handover, Angie did not attend, she was out of town dealing with repairs to another van (Van 4). There is a theme here. The first 4 days of our rental period was tied up with waiting: waiting for telephone calls, waiting for resolutions to our reported faults; waiting for a replacement satisfactory vehicle for our travelling companions. The resolutions never came, we proceeded with our trip with subpar vehicles. Replies to our communication stopped when we persisted. We are not novice campers and/or travelers. We have camped extensively throughout Queensland in tents in camping sites and in remote off grid areas. We have also hired campervans through Camplify in Australia and have had nothing but positive experiences. This experience, on the other hand, has not only been negative but will make us think twice before we rent again.

Were genuinely sorry to hear that your trip didnt meet expectations, as thats never the experience we aim to provide. We do, however, feel its important to add some context for anyone reading this. In the lead-up to and during your hire, there were a small number of issues that unfortunately arose across multiple vehicles something that can occasionally happen in peak travel periods when vans are used back-to-back. That said, we responded as quickly as possible, remained in regular contact initially, and worked to offer solutions, including alternative vehicles and repair arrangements where needed. Some of the concerns mentioned (such as minor cosmetic wear, missing items, or small fittings) were either already disclosed, quickly rectified, or did not impact the safe operation of the vehicle. Other matters like appliance performance can vary depending on whether the van is connected to mains power, which is standard for this type of setup and explained at handover. We do acknowledge that the situation with your travelling companions vehicle was frustrating, and we did our best under the circumstances to provide alternatives and organise repairs as quickly as possible during a very busy period. We also want to note that communication became increasingly difficult despite our efforts to assist, which made resolving matters in real time more challenging than it needed to be. We stand by the overall quality of our vans and service, reflected in the many positive experiences from other guests. That said, we take all feedback seriously and will continue improving wherever we can. We truly regret that this trip didnt go as planned for you and wish you all the best in your future travels
