Leonard 5.0Great hire van. Easy to drive and comfortable to live in. We had no trouble on our trip of 3weeks Richard was so obliging and we were impressed with the vehicle as well as Richard. Easy to deal with and looked after us well.
Kaitlin 5.0Absolutely amazing camper van! Extremely clean, tidy, organised, and well equipped. So much thought has gone into the van. The mattress topper provided and linen was absolutely amazing! The vehicle itself is it great condition, drives smoothly! Communication from owner was fantastic the whole way through. Highly recommend this van.
Alicia 4.8My best friend and I had a wonderful time exploring the South Island in Robs van. It had everything we needed for the trip, and Rob was great to communicate with pickup and drop-off were easy and straightforward. The van is fully self-sufficient, and we never had any battery issues or needed to plug into power. We stayed at a mix of pre-booked campgrounds, DOC sites, and freedom camping spots, which worked perfectly for us. Rob also kindly offered to store our suitcases, which made things much easier. Storage in the van is mainly above and underneath the seating/bed area, so packing light is definitely a good idea! We were pleasantly surprised by how many towns had clean public toilets, and most campgrounds had well-equipped kitchens, where we ended up doing most of our cooking. The van drove really well, even on windy roads, and we always felt comfortable behind the wheel. The awning was perfect for relaxing outside, and we often made use of the chairs when stopping at beautiful spots to read or eat. Thank you, Rob! We had an amazing trip and would absolutely recommend your van!
Sally Anne 5.0We had an amazing holiday in this high spec caravan which is very comfortable and spacious for 2 people, totally set up for off-road caravanning but what made it for us was the outstanding service from Kimberley and Nathan at Soel Outdoors. This couple take customer service to a whole new level and we would have no hesitation in hiring again and recommending them to any potential customers. You will not be disappointed as they made sure we were safely set up to tow the van, were always available on their mobiles to answer queries, provided a collection service from the airport and if necessary, Nathan will deliver a van to your location. Kimberley and Nathan made us feel very valued as customers. They are a delightful couple, industry savvy and very knowledgeable in this field. Their commitment to support and service was 10/10
Lee Roy 5.0We rented Camperella for 2 months and had a great time! The mattress is really comfortable and she offers everything one needs on a roadtrip. She is an elderly lady, which means she has her ups and downs, be prepared for that. For us this meant no music during most of the roadtrip as it was not working. When it comes to driving, she was very reliable. Took her some time for steep inclines, but she never gave up. If you are looking for an adventure with character rather than pure luxury, go for it. Communication with Stan was superb, always helpful and quick in answering. Thanks so much!

Jessica 5.0We had such a fun time driving Big Bee around the South Island! It was the highlight of our holiday! Anthony was so helpful and communicative. He gave us recommendations of where to go, showed us everything about the van (there is everything you need in there!), and answered any questions we had quickly! Exploring with Big Bee was so fun! Anthony made sure everything was in tip top shape for us even though we were a last minute booking! Couldnt recommend Big Bee & Anthony more!!! If youre looking for the perfect van for your South Island roadie, look no further!
Lorenzo 5.0We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mana! Everything we couldve needed - comfy bed, necessary facilities, easy to drive, and a spacious yet cozy feel. Asha was really quick and responsive. Van manager Cat was great too, and so accomodating. Thanks so much, 10/10 would highly recommended!

Esther 4.8We had a wonderful trip all over the North Island in NZ in this campervan. It's been well maintained and has a new engine so it felt like we were driving a more current vehicle. Bruce's communication was very good and he went through all of the details of the campervan with patience. It was very helpful to have a video, as well, to reference whilst we were on the trip. Being centrally located was also very convenient for pick up and drop off.

Vicki 5.0We rented La Cucaracha for 5 weeks and absolutely loved our trip. Andy was very easy to communicate with and the campervan was a perfect size for our family of 4. Lots of upgrades including a new fridge and really great unlimited WIFI. The linens were warm and the beds comfy!
David 5.0This van is easy to drive, handles very well and is plenty powerful. Lots of storage space, good size fridge. The rear bed was very comfortable, Satellite TV was a bonus. The slide out BBQ was also a feature we really enjoyed. Overall we had a really great experience, Im sure you will too.
Craig 5.0Tony and Laetitia were great 'hosts', answered our questions prior to arrival and explained everything when they met us at the airport. Tranquilla served us well for our two weeks in South island and allowed us to see so much of the wonderful country. The camper was easy to drive, very well equipped, comfortable for driving, eating and sleeping and campgrounds were fantastic, from the basic DOC sites always in stunning locations to fully equipped sites, the barn in able tasman being a favourite of ours. Highly recommend and enjoy vanlife
George 5.0We had the best holiday in NZ and it was made all the more special to be driving this older but super reliable van 'Isabella' The van is certified for freedom camping. It's a really comfy sleep and has facilities for the many roadside tea breaks as well as making hot meals on the stove. Loads of built in storage kept out bags safe and out of the way. I would recommend this van to anyone thinking about touring in NZ, just go for it. Oh and thanks to the owner Caron for all that good to know stuff and friendly send-off. George

Hanneke 4.8It has been absolutely amazing! Ladybug is an old lady so do not expect too much from the aesthetics but she drives wonderfully and offers you everything what you need for a fantastic journey around the island!
