James 5.0My wife and I spent the best part of nine days in the McLeisure van for Maadi Cup, and it was our first trip away with just the two of us since backpacking through Central America 26 years ago. We absolutely loved itand we loved the van. The setup was cosy and warm, with an extra mink blanket provided and even fairy lights around the bed, which added a really nice touch of ambience. The fridge was a standout, keeping both the beers nicely cold and our food supplies fresh. Cooking outside was a highlight, with morning coffees made in the Bialetti and a collapsible jug that packed down flatgenius. Everything was thoughtfully supplied, from all the cutlery you could need to a seriously sharp knife, picnic table and chairs. Most days we drove right by the lake to watch the rowing, enjoying coffee, breakfast, and lunch there, followed by cold beers and G&Ts in the afternoonperfect. George was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and well definitely be doing this again soon.

Nicola 5.0We had an absolutely fantastic experience hiring David and Monicas campervan. From start to finish, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to deal with. They kindly picked us up from the airport and dropped us back at the end, which made everything so seamless. The handover was very clear and thorough, so we felt confident and ready to go straight away. Throughout our trip, they checked in to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. The campervan itself was outstanding spacious, immaculate, and clearly very well cared for. It truly felt like a 5-star campervan experience. We couldnt recommend David and Monica more highly and would absolutely rent from them again in a heartbeat!

Ian 4.5We caught a ferry to Beachlands from Auckland city which was a great way to get to the pick up point where Garry met us. Jewel is easy enough to drive, although the size does take a bit of getting used to. Parking in shopping centre carparks can be a bit challenging sometimes as Jewel will take up two parking bays. Jewel has all the basic requirements to prepare meals. Having the separate shower and toilet was great. Garry was great to deal with and even dropped us at the airport after meeting him at a pre-arranged point.

Rick 5.0Steve is the absolute friendliest man you can imagine and will absolutely make sure you have the best time during the rental period. We were able to communicate through WhatsApp with him and he was always quick to respond. The van itself is spacious and comfortable. The set-up with the drawers was very convenient in our opinion. The bed is really big and sleeps very well. Best campervan we've rented so far (we rented quite a few now). Last but not least: Steve even offered us a transfer to the airport after we brought it back. Fantastic and really convenient. 10/10 experience.
