Clyzhel 5.0Shion and Kieran were the most lovely host. From the start, they provided us all the knowledge we needed for our trip with Nico, as well as some tips along the way for some hidden gems! They offered to pick us up and drop us off from the airport which made it so easy. Nico brought us to the most beautiful places, some that I thought only exist in my dreams! Nico definitely fought the mountain roads and did not lose! Such a good van, equipped with everything you will need to be self sustained. We recommend Nico to couples or a family of four with small children, it's easy, convenient, and always on the go like we were.
Yosuke 5.0We spent about 10 days traveling around the South Island of New Zealand with this van, and it made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable. Having the freedom to explore so many places at our own pace was amazing, and the van was comfortable enough that we happily spent many nights sleeping in it. Everything we needed was there, and it handled the trip really well. It truly felt like the perfect companion for exploring such a beautiful part of the world. The owners were also very kind, attentive, and easy to communicate with, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Thank you again for sharing your van with us and helping make our trip such a memorable experience!
Matt 5.0Bazza 3 was exactly what we were after and was great value. It was great not needing to setup tents. We are both under 170cm tall and found it to be comfortable to sleep in. We developed a good system for organising our gear after a couple of days. We travelled in March and found the vehicle was not too warm to sleep in but if we had warmer spells we would have needed to open windows for ventilation to keep the van cool enough to sleep in. We then would have need a way to stop the sandflys biting us. The van drove well for a vehicle of its age and fuel consumption was reasonable. One thing to keep in mind is the fridge only runs whilst the van is on so we needed to plan around that. Most commercial campgrounds which we used sometimes have fridges. It was kitted out with what we needed to prepare meals. If we were to do the same trip again we would be happy to use Bazza 3 again. Thanks Barry, you were great to deal with.
Jason 4.8We had a really lovely experience with EvaNest. The listing was clear that the van is over 20 years old, and it was presented in very good condition for its age. It was very clean, well looked after, and everything worked as expected. Manu was a pleasure to deal with friendly, responsive, and easygoing throughout the whole process. There was a small bit of confusion when we returned the van, but he handled it in a very calm and professional way, which we really appreciated. While I dont have a lot of experience with camper vans and might personally hesitate taking an older vehicle on a very long trip, for our journey it was absolutely perfect and we had a great time. Thank you Manu we really appreciated the care you put into the experience.

Raphael 5.0We had a great experience renting this motorhome through Camplify for a trip with my parents. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, which made a big difference for a family trip. It had everything we needed, and the layout worked really well for both relaxing and sleeping. Driving was smooth and easy, even on longer stretches, and it handled New Zealand roads without any issues. The owners were also very helpful and responsive, making the whole process simple and stress-free after we had a windscreen incident. Overall, it was a fantastic way to travel, and Id definitely recommend this motorhome to anyone.

Jack 5.0We had the best 2 weeks touring the South Island in the Casino! It has everything you need and lots of space to store your bags. It was surprisingly warm on chilly nights and the bed was very comfy! It felt so homely for the 2 weeks we were in it and we were sad to give it back! Reed was super friendly, quick to respond and gave us some great suggestions for our trip. He also accommodated our early morning pick up time. I would highly recommend the Casino for your next adventure and would 100% book again if (when) we return!
Steve 5.0We chose SpringLight Motorhomes to book our motorhome holiday as you can select which van you like, as opposed to being what is available from other motorhome companies. We had Felix who was brand new to Shane at SpringLight. It was spotless and neat and tidy with gas cooker, gas 3 hob top, good cupboard space, large fridge, compact shower and separate loo and a comfy bed. We loved the bug screens! We made use of the heater on a couple of nights, we were able to phone Shane when we needed assistance with getting the heating going and he was very prompt to help us! Overall an excellent van, easy to drive and park. We would definitely book via SpringLight again in the future.
Julia 5.0Serena was a dream come true. Compact enough to handle easily on the roads, she is no bigger than an ordinary van, yet has plenty of storage and is stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean and sleep comfortably. In stocking Serena, Julia struck a perfect balance of going beyond the necessities and maintaining simplicity. The key was the organization. We cooked breakfast and dinners on the stove. The fridge was the perfect size to stock several days worth of food for two people. The french press was perfect for two. All of the kitchen utensils we needed were there, including knives, cutting board, scissors, wine glasses, plates and bowls, even containers for storing leftovers. Wet wipes, paper towels, cloth towels, and sweeper brush made it easy to keep clean. The bed is VERY comfortable! I was surprised, with such a small space and modular mattress, just how supportive and soft the bed was. It felt seamless. Two small-ish women had plenty of room to sleep, with perfect little compartments for storing things within reach, and strung lights to make it a cozy space. Window curtains assured privacy. Setting up the bed every night was more of a hassle than we were willing to deal with, so we chose to keep the bed set up the entire time and didn't use the bench seating and table inside the van. The two folding chairs and folding table made it easy and comfortable to sit outside to cook and eat. Julia was sweet and gracious, and was available throughout the trip for any questions. She responded within hours of any inquiry. She took ample time to walk us through Serena when she dropped it off so we were both confident in all of the operations. She was also flexible with the pick up and drop off locations. Thank you, Julia! Serena made this trip unforgettable! And all this, at an incredibly affordable price. Book this van now! You won't regret it.
Martina 5.0Working with SpringLight was fantastic. An exceptional company with spotless and well maintained vehicles. Customer service is exceptional. We were referred to Springlight by a friend who also had a great experience. Shane is immediately responsive and has a lot of knowledge about campervan/rv rental in NZ. They are a small company with personalized care. I have heard it can be very impersonal with the bigger companies. Shane met us at the airport and spent a lot of time with us getting to know the van. He was VERY thorough so we felt comfortable driving away. Also we did not have to wait hours in line to get our van. Another HUGE plus is that the rental company logo is not plastered all over the van. There is a small logo on the back. So you aren't marked as a tourist as you travel around the country. Shane also enjoyed getting pictures of us on our travels. I highly recommend Springlight to anyone travelling to the South Island of New Zealand.

Elle 5.0Great off-grid experience team We recently took this van for a four day trip to Lochinvar Station and it exceeded all our expectations. The setup is a dream for remote camping, between the lithium batteries and ample solar power, we had a low stress weekend without worrying about power. Rachel and Jake have thought of everything, the van was stocked with all the essentials to get away (and then some). The kids loved the marshmallows and hot chocolate! The beds were comfortable, and the van towed great throughout the trip. Well definitely be booking again soon. Thanks again, Rachel and Jake
Chantel 5.0What an amazing caravan! Had such a great experience. Great communication with super easy handover. Loved all the accessories that came with the caravan - coffee machine, airfryer/grill unit, etc. And especially loved the treats that were left in the caravan for our little ones . Would definitely book again.
