Ngaio 5.0Our holiday in this campervan was amazing - we had never hired a campervan in our lives and we are now seriously looking at hiring again. A good intro into a slightly older campervan, but we loved it and managed 4 days in Northland in various camp grounds - loved the huge bed and all the necessities inside, having a manual drive campervan was great for going up hills, and having the ability to take both of our bikes on the back, as well as my husbands Wing Foiling gear inside on the spare bed above the cab - also having wifi was fantastic as we were both able to work from the campervan when needed or watch movies at night. We don't travel without our dog Stanley so it was perfect to be able to have him with us all the way!

Ewan Robert 5.0Timmy is the perfect van, great layout and did use well for 3 weeks. However, if you are on the taller side you could struggle. Drives very well and manages all the steep hills and is surprisingly fuel efficient too. Great having the option of cooking completely indoors when raining/sandflies. We found Timmy to be spacious despite being compact. Well equipped and comfortable. Van was very clean and tidy when we collected it and is in good overall condition. Self contained sticker so great for freedom camping (although we didn't need to use the toilet) Prompt communication at all times with Stan made everything easy. Stress free, very sad to say goodbye!

Axel 5.0We had an amazing 6 weeks with Greyhound ! The van is very well thought out, doesn't use much fuel and is very reliable. We liked having an indoor table and kitchen for the rainy days, and a great bluetooth stereo for the long NZ roads. Communication with Max was very easy, he was super fast to respond and find a solution when a minor issue arose. He was very accommodating during the entire trip. Thanks again ! Greyhound was a great home away from home, we miss it and NZ already !

Mark 5.0We had such a great experience hiring this campervan. Andy and Camilla were lovely hosts and made everything so easy from start to finish. The van was exactly as described; compact, well-equipped, and perfect for the weekend escape. It drives like a car, which made getting around a breeze. We also loved that our Labradoodle could come along for the adventure. Would definitely book again!
Rebecca 5.0I used Gens van for a family reunion on my uncles farm in the Coromandel and it couldnt been more perfect! Having a solar powered fridge was a game changer and the pullout cooker was so convenient too! It was very clean and although the nights were a little cool being April, the window covers actually provided noticeable insulation for the van as I didnt use the first night and really noticed the difference! Pick up and drop off was super quick and easy and Gen and her partner Evan were friendly and helpful. They let me leave my car there and the drive from KawaKawa bay to the coromandel was stunning and avoided all of the holiday traffic! I will definitely use their van again for a holiday adventure!
Garrett 5.0Melanie was amazing. So accommodating. I thought the van was in very good working condition and perfect for my family as I didnt want brand new. Ran and drove beautifully. Every functional item including blinds worked well which shows shes working hard to keep it up
John 5.0We had a fantastic holiday exploring Rotorua and Hawkes Bay in this campervan. Rachel was incredibly helpful and made the whole experience seamless from start to finish. The van itself was brand new, and all the bedding and equipment were clean and well presented. It was a pleasure to drivevery easy to handle, much like a car, but with the added bonus of excellent visibility. We would absolutely recommend hiring with them!

Giuli 5.0We had such a fun Easter holiday down south. The van was very easy to drive and park. Everything worked well the entire time and the bed was super comfy! However, like other reviews said the van has a small gas tank so just had to be sure it was filled when doing long stretches. Joe was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend!!
Marius 5.0We rented the van for about three weeks and drove it all over the North and South Islands. We had a great time! Ramiro's family designed and built the van's interior themselves, and it is very well organised! Everything worked, everything had its place, and there was still plenty of space for our own things. The communication was excellent, too. When we got a flat tyre due to a screw, Ramiro was very helpful and even called us. The handover was very straightforward, and everyone was very welcoming. They also gave us lots of useful tips for our journey. We cannot recommend Ramiro and his family highly enough. We would definitely rent one of their vans again!
Jose 5.0We had an amazing 4-day holiday with perfect weather and an even more perfect setup! Our caravan was modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The best part? It was delivered, parked, and fully set up for usand taken away at the end. Completely stress-free from start to finish. Honestly, it doesnt get better than that!

Nathan 5.0Great RV with everything you need, it was set up really well. Heaps of storage in the garage for surfboards, bbq ect. Outside shower was a bonus. We spent five days tripping around Gisborne and East Coast finding the perfect waves. Plenty of room for our family of 4. We would absolutely hire from Darren again
