  Taika is the perfect companion to explore the South island. Easy to drive, well equipped, comfy bed and very reliable. Communication with Vikki was very smooth and easy too :)

  Had an amazing time with this van! It was easy to drive and had everything needed for a two week camping trip. Mitchell and Sheryl were fast with communication. Would highly recommend booking Weka!

  Phil and Maverick were great. Phil is very obliging and helped with collection and drop off of the van, taking the time to give us a thorough run through of how everything works and what to do with the van. Maverick is well appointed and kitted out with everything you need to just get in and go. Phil has obviously spent a lot of time laying this out to make it something very special and it shows. We loved our trip and would highly recommend Phil and Maverick.

  Barry absolutely made our New Zealand trip. From day one, he was incredibly easy to driveeven tackling winding mountain roads felt smooth and stress-free, which says a lot for a van. The setup inside was honestly perfect. The kitchen was such a highlightwe used the utensils constantly, and everything we needed was there, making cooking on the road super convenient. The esky was also a standout, keeping everything fresh and making day trips so much easier. Sleeping in Barry was surprisingly comfortable. There was so much space to stretch out, and the storage was amazingwe never felt cramped, even with all our stuff for nearly two weeks. Everything had its place, which made living in the van feel really organised and easy. Best of all, we had zero issues the entire trip. Barry was reliable from start to finish, which gave us so much peace of mind while travelling around. Couldnt have asked for a better vanBarry really was the MVP of the trip.

  We had the pleasure of renting this campervan from the two loveliest hosts during our trip around New Zealand, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the start, we received a thorough and helpful introduction to the vehicle, which made us feel safe and confident throughout the entire journey. As we travelled around the two islands, everything worked perfectly there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Whenever we had questions, they were always quick to respond and incredibly helpful, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The campervan had everything we needed. It was perfectly equipped for both campsites without electricity and those with power, making it a very versatile and reliable vehicle for all types of travel. We can highly recommend renting this campervan. Youll not only get a great vehicle, but also excellent service from truly wonderful people.

  We hired Idefix for an 8 day road trip around the North Island. The van was a dream to drive, super modern and has all of the amenities you could want. Massive bonus for us was being able to have our beloved dog join us on the adventure. Nina and Mic are fantastic, great communicators and we appreciated their additional recommendations for places to stop our trip.

  We had an amazing trip in Giovani, it had everything we needed and more. Ben and Jono were so helpful and extremely responsive leading up to and throughout the trip. We had really clear instructions for how to use everything in the van. They gave us awesome recommendations. Very flexible with pick up and drop off which made our travels easy. Really great value hire, would recommend!

  The van was everything that was described. It far exceeded our expectations and Larry was obviously very thought out when he was put together. The bed was large and comfortable and the big mini fridge made all the difference. The pull out cook top under the back tailgate kept us out of the elements when it was raining. 10/10 Van

It's an older model, so it doesn't have a new engine; you really need to stay below 90 km/h. I also advise you to keep the gas on at all times so the fridge works properly. Always have diesel on hand and don't run it low, otherwise the engine will overheat. This campervan is like an old friend you learn to live with every day. I hope I've inspired you and, above all, given you some good tips for future bookings.
