This motorhome is for up to 6 people who can travel, sleep and enjoy their holiday comfortably. Children’s car seats can be secured with three 3-point seat belts. Beds The rear lounge folds down into a 2.1m x 1.5m bed, the dinette folds down into a 1.9m x 1.1m bed and above the cab is the largest of all three beds measuring 2.1m x 1.6m. Bedding included in hire. Kitchen A well equipped kitchen including 4 gas burners, rangehood, grill oven, microwave, and fridge with freezer. Cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery are provided. A basic pantry including spices, salt, pepper, oil, coffee and tea are included. Dining The rear lounge allows for family meals or games at the table, or can be set up as a double bed. Perfect for playing cards or games which are included. The dinette in the front, also doubles as the passenger seats, and can turn into a small double bed at night. You are all set up to dine al fresco, with an outdoor table and camping chairs included. The camper also has an awning. Bathroom Onboard is hot and cold fresh water, toilet, bathroom sink and shower with grey water tanks. Towels included in hire. Other features The camper has a bike rack for two bikes (non e- bikes). There is plenty of room in the boot for any extra gear. We have included a New Zealand Lonely Planet and driving maps to help you plan your adventure. Off-grid The motorhome has a “Self-Containment Certificate” which is required to use many freedom camping locations giving you more options for freedom camping. Solar and batteries will give you freedom off grid as they can run all equipment in the camper, apart from the microwave. It also has a heating system when needed in the cooler months, however the camper is well insulated. It has 3 sky-lights/air vents for ventilation on those warmer days. Location Pickup & Drop Off in Halswell, Christchurch - approx 25min from the airport. We provide free airport pick up and drop off by arrangement. We live on a rural property and allow park-overs on site should you wish to make a fresh start the day after arrival. You are welcome to leave your car/vehicle with us during your hire. Soft packs/ bags are easier to store in the camper than suitcases.

Hiring rules

• Not to be driven or parked on beaches, in river beds, or long stretches of unsealed roads, including Skifield access roads.
• Oneway hires are permitted but must be arranged prior and there will be a relocation fee.
• No smoking or vaping inside camper.
• Refill gas and fuel before returning the camper.
• Awning must be packed away in any strong winds and overnight.
• If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately and seek assistance.
• If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify. Then call me.
• All Diesel vehicles in New Zealand are subject to Road User Charges, often referred to as RUC's and are $0.09 per kilometre ($9.00 per 100 km) and these charges are calculated at the end of the booking, based on the mileage traveled. We do not profit in any way on these charges, we only pass on the direct cost charged to us by the transport agency.
• No festivals or events without prior consultation.
• No subletting.
• RV must be returned clean, with toilet and grey water emptied.
• If damage occurs, you must report it immediately.

  Dora is a very spacious, well-equipped motorhome. You can tell that she has a few kilometres under her belt, but that doesn't matter. We drove 4500 kilometres from Christchurch to Auckland and there was never a problem. The communication with Jock and Laura was great, they explained everything well (including videos). The pick-up and return went smoothly. We had an unforgettable holiday. Many thanks again to Jock and Laura.

  Dora was a dream come true for me and my two sons. We travelled over 2000k over 10 days staying off grid the entire time, allowing us to see and experience so much more. Dora had everything we needed, and the layout was great. We had one minor van issue (house battery) on route, but Jock was proactive at finding a solution when we brought it to his attention. Did this holiday measure up to our expectations?? Absolutely and more. We would definitely use Dora again. Thank you again Jock and family.

  Dora is a perfect motorhome for a family of 4. Super comfortable to travel the South Island for 2 weeks, no issues at all. The beds are comfy and spacious, nice to have the essentials like coffee and spices in the kitchen and the bathroom for emergencies. We didnt go off grid but you absolutely could. Would highly recommend. Thank you Jock.

  We had an absolutely fantastic time in Jocks van, Dora. The van was far better equipped than what youd get through a mainstream rental company. Everything from toilet paper to tea and coffee. Loads of towels and bed linen. Van itself was spotless and performed flawlessly for 4 adults. Jock made pickup and drop off near the airport a breeze. Highly recommend!
