Get in touch to learn more about free extra days (if you book 4 or more) or free linen (for 3 day hires) ** Freedom Fighter is three years old and can accomodate four guests. The front lounge space reconfigures into a double bed, at the rear is a set of single bunks (the top bunk has a maximum rating of 70kg so is suitable for children, not adults). At the heart of the caravan is a dining area for four, with a kitchen opposite. The kitchen comes complete with running hot/cold water, toaster, kettle, microwave, Nespresso machine and mini fridge/freezer. We have disconnected the oven and cook top for safety reasons but are happy to provide a BBQ and/or gas cook top to use outside instead, and camp facilities are always available. Opposite the bunks is a bathroom with toilet, handbasin and a shower. There is no awning supplied, but all windows are fitted with sun filters as well as block out blinds. Freedom Fighter is 7.6m (25 feet) long from tow ball to stowed bike rack, is single axle with a long draw bar. To tow our caravan you must be proficient and experienced in towing trailers and/or caravans, have a vehicle capable of towing 1478kg and have a valid NZ drivers license. If you request to tow, please let us know about your towing experience. You can check your vehicle's towing capacity here: https://www.aa.co.nz/cars/owning-a-car/towing/towing-weights/ (look at the "Trailer with brakes" column). For those not confident in towing, we offer a drop off/pick up service within 30km of Papamoa for $100.00. When we drop off, we also set up the caravan for you so you're completely ready to roll! For locations further afield we charge $1.25/km. For all hires, we strongly prefer bookings local to Mount Maunganui/Papamoa, or within the BOP. Please let us know if you are not camping at a campground. Freedom Fighter can operate on solar power, but some functions (toaster, kettle etc.) won’t operate without 240V. We are happy to provide linen (sheets, duvets and pillows for beds, bath towels, hand towels, tea towels and cloths) at an additional cost of $80.00 per stay. Otherwise, mattress protectors are included and you can bring your own linen. Upon request we can provide: - trestle table - portable BBQ and gas bottle - gas cook top and a butane bottle - large groundsheet We don't accommodate pets sorry. And smoking or vaping within or around the caravan is obviously not permitted. Please note, if you are planning to tow Freedom Fighter to your camp site and have requested them, the BBQ and trestle table need to fit in your vehicle. These cannot be transported inside the caravan as they can cause serious damage moving around. The caravan should be cleaned (all surfaces wiped down, bathroom and kitchen cleaned, toilet cassette and flush water empty and floors swept/vacuumed) prior to return, otherwise a cleaning fee of $150.00 will be added. We love our caravan and creating amazing memories with our children and are happy to share Freedom Fighter with other families who feel the same. Get in touch if you have any questions!
