Elsie is a head-turning caravan. Whether you're driving through towns or set up at a campground, you may be the centre of attention.
Retro on the outside, Elsie is all modern inside, with a new kitchen, cabinetry and toilet (but no shower). There's also plenty of storage.
The table/bench seating converts into a double, and we have a luxury mattress topper to go on top of the squabs to make this super comfortable.
Note: I have a booking until 30 December, and then I am away from Jan 1 until Jan 12. The caravan is available, but only if you can take it from 31st until (at least) the 12th.
The important stuff
- Minimum hirer age is 25 years
- Sleeps 2 inside the van
- Sedan, Large Sedan, SUV, 4x4 or Large 4x4 required to tow
- Van is 3.35 m (11 feet) long
- 4 day minimum hire
- Pick up your van from Auckland
- Pets are not allowed
- Off road is not allowed
- Electric brake controller is not needed

Hiring rules
- No smoking inside.
- Be gentle!
- Soft luggage & bedding only to be stored insideno bikes, fridges etc.
- Elsie is to be returned in the same condition as she left. Floor swept, surfaces & stove cleaned, cutlery etc washed, mud/dust cleaned from outside. A surcharge will be deducted on the day if she is returned dirty.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

About the owner
Recently returned to NZ after years abroad, working in Australia, Singapore, UK and Japan, with many adventures in those countries and more. I work in advertising/marketing technology, but like to get my hands dirty with making pizza, beer, kombucha, cheese and recently, gin.
