We want your trip to be as easy and enjoyable as possible, so we’ve included lots of thoughtful extras to help you hit the road stress-free: - Pet-friendly: We’re happy to welcome well-behaved furry friends – adventures are better with your four-legged companions! - No extra charges for the essentials: Linen, bedding, and a small pantry with cooking basics (like oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, etc.) are all included at no extra cost. - Plenty of storage: You’ll have loads of room for your gear inside the van, plus extra space up top in the roof box. - Soft off-road allowed: You’re welcome to take the van on gravel roads and hard-packed sand, as long as it’s legal and safe. We just ask that you let us know your plans so we can advise on aftercare if any. Usually a quick wash straight after to clear salt and dust and protect the van. Not many providers allow this, so please enjoy the flexibility and treat it with care. - Diesel road user charges: Like all diesel vehicles in NZ, there’s a road user charge of $79.00 per kilometer, calculated at the end of your trip. If your road trip is 1,000 km, the charge would be $79.00—which usually still makes your trip more economical, as diesel fuel is considerably cheaper than petrol in NZ. -Full-to-Full fuel policy: we ask that you return the van with a full tank ready for another adventure. - One-way hires are available, you can drop off or pick up in a different location. A one-way fee applies to cover relocation costs, which we’ll quote based on your pickup/drop-off points and travel dates. - Pick-up & drop-off: Our van is based in Tauranga. Getting here is easy— if you fly in to Auckland, buses run three times a day and usually cost $30.00–$60.00. For bookings of a week or longer, we can arrange Auckland pick-up or drop-off at your convenient times for a $100.00 fee. - Adventure extras: After more than just a van? We can help to add a surfboard, mountain bikes, a kayak, or even a jetski if you wish. If you have any questions or any special requests, feel free to reach out — we’re here to help make your roadie as smooth and memorable as possible!

  We rented a VW T6 4X4 through Camplify for 3 week trip around New Zealand's North Island, driving total of 2700 km. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish. Pick up and drop off were easy and host was extremely helpful, making sure we knew how everything worked before we set off. The campervan itself was clean and well maintained. The interior layout vas very smart with everything organized in a practical, user-friendly way - perfect for a longer trip. The solar battery setup was excellent and kept everything powered without any issues. We did not use the shower, so can't comment on that feature. Thule storage box on top provided extra space for luggage, which helped keep interior clutter-free. The awning also was simple to set up and proved really useful for outdoor cooking and relaxing in the shade. On the road the VW T6 handled beautifully. It felt stable and the 4X4 capability added extra confidence on uneven or hilly terrain. Despite the performance, the van was fuel-efficient, which made a noticeable difference over a such long distance. Overall, this campervan was a fantastic choice : reliable, comfortable, fuel- efficient and well equipped. With an excellent host and smooth process through Camplify, we'd happily rent it again.

  Party of 2 (plus a little one even), this van is all you need. I can't get over how exceptional this VW is as a camper van. Vytautas's did an outstanding job at designing and brining this camper to life. It has quite everything you need for a successful journey. Not only is the van great on diesel, but it really does drive like a car. The power is there when you want it, and the 4WD eats the windy roads of NZ for breakfast. Lots of storage, more than you need really. Super warm and cozy on the colder nights (we slept at -2 degrees without heated blankets or anything, totally doable). The fridge will give you enough space for food for at least 2-4 days depending on what you buy. This van is the crème de la crème. Vytauta's was also very responsive and helpful with any questions about the van, and the handover/return was straight forward. Will definitely be renting it out again.
