Unlike many listings, everything you need for a comfortable trip is provided free of charge. 🛏️ Linen Included (No Fees) You’ll receive: - 1 x double duvet - 1 x duvet cover - 2 x pillows (Rectangular/standard pillows) - 2 x pillow slips - 1 x fitted sheet All freshly laundered for each booking. ****➡️ Please note: BYO towels. Towels are not provided — please bring your own. We suggest quick dry travel towels. 🧼 Cleaning Supplies Included To make your trip easy, the van comes with: - Plenty of cleaning cloths for quick wipe-downs during your journey - 3 tea towels - A dustpan - An instruction list for your return - We launder all linen and cloths for you. 🚐 Your Responsibility at Return There is no cleaning charge as long as the van is returned in the same clean condition it was hired in (with the exception of dirty linen — that’s our job). For your convenience: -Queenstown Z petrol station offer 8 minutes of vacuuming for $3.00 (2025 price) - A basic exterior body wash is around $13.00 📦 Inventory & Replacement A full inventory is taken before every rental. Any missing items will be charged at: -Replacement cost, plus -Hourly labour for sourcing and replacing the item. This ensures Midnight Serena stays beautifully equipped and enjoyable for everyone. 🧳 Things You May Need to Buy/Bring (Not Provided) To help you prepare, here’s a list of items not included with the van: - Butane for the stove - Towels (BYO) - Tissues, toilet paper, wet wipes - Dish sponge - Bin bags - Dish soap - Cooking basics: oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, etc. - AA Batteries (if the fairy light batteries run out) - Flat sheet - Extra linen or pillows - Water in the water jug This ensures you have everything you personally like to travel with.

Hiring rules

• South Island only (unless approved in writing)
• No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads. Please read in detail about your destinations and free camps before you go to avoid surprises.
• Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
• No smoking inside / no pets / no festivals
• Hirer age restrictions (25) based on the owners membership
• Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you’ll risk a cleaning fee of $250.00NZD
• Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.
• Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 03 668 1211 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
• Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of booking being approved, otherwise I may cancel it.
• Tolls and fines are the responsibility of the hirer
• 95 Petrol must be used (do not use 91 or Diesel)
• The vehicle must be retuned with the same level of fuel as when it was hired. The low fuel light must not be on. If the fuel is not at the correct level hirers will be charged $4.50 NZD per litre.
• The butane stove must be clean and cool before packing away.
• The key lock box must be removed once you take the key out and stored inside the van for the duration of your hire. The van may not be driven with the lock box on. The lockbox must not be used to store your key during your rental, under any circumstances.
• Replacement keys will be at hirers cost. There is no spare key. Losing the key will require roadside assistance to the nearest key programmer.
• The sink must be wiped out after use to avoid rot
• No wet towels, clothes or other wet items on any van surface (put them in a plastic bag).
• No loose items may be stored on the kitchen bench while driving (with the exception of the provided cloth bin and container for your dish sponge)
• Upholstery stains will be charged to the hirer
• Open all curtains when driving for maximum visibility
• Van doors must be closed promptly even in light rain to avoid swelling MDF timber or damage to the inverter.
