Ponga (Maori for Tree Fern, which is featured on his body work :)) has a great set-up; a section of worksurface lifts to reveal a double-gas burner, (fed by v large gas bottle), a front-opening large fridge, a corner sink, plenty of storage space for food and cutlery/ pots and pans. Table and bench converts to bed. Overhead storage is also available for suitcases etc, as well as under bed/ bench. Ponga comes with an awning, bike rack and 2 bikes, helmets etc, and 2 camping chairs, and a porta-potty. We've been travelling around in him for last 5 weeks, so have sorted out any working imporvements, eg added phone mounts etc.

Additional information

The dates available for hire are restricted to mid December 2023 to early January 2024. (9-13 Dec start to 2-5th January return ideally). Please contact us to discuss dates if outside of these ranges. pots/ pans and bedding etc are included in the price.

Hiring rules

We are out of New Zealand from 13 Dec to first week of January. Thus we need hirers to pick up before this date (pref 912 Dec) and also preferably to hire until just after New Years day. We have some flexibility on second date, if hirers want a little longer. Pick up and return in Christchurch. Contact us if interested and see if we can work out a plan.
Hire also includes Bike rack and 2 hybrid bikes and helmets.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $110.00 per day
Service fee: $20.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
