Please note, this van is not self contained and thus Freedom camping will not be an option with this van. However, there are over 200 Doc campsites in the South Island of New Zealand. These campsites are located in national parks, forests, and other conservation areas, and offer a range of facilities and experiences. They range from $5.00 -$15.00 per person per night and can be booked online ( https://bookings.doc.govt.nz/Web/ ) There are also numerous non-DoC campsites in the South Island of New Zealand, including: 1. Holiday parks: Over 100 sites, offering a range of facilities like powered sites, cabins, and amenities blocks. 2. Private campsites: Around 50 sites, often on rural properties or farms, offering basic to moderate facilities. 3. Council campsites: Approximately 20 sites, managed by local councils, providing basic to moderate facilities. Some popular non-DoC campsite options in the South Island include: - Top 10 Holiday Resorts (14 locations) - Kiwi Holiday Parks (10 locations) - NZMCA (New Zealand Motor Caravan Association) parks (20+ locations) - Private campsites like Wanaka Kiwi Holiday Park, Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park, and many more. Hiring rules

• I want your experience to be one of adventure and exploration, but we have to keep it safe and equally enjoyable for the next users. Here are a few rules I would like you to follow please
• 1. Driving on gravel roads is allowed, but please drive slowly and take care as they can be very slippy and quite rugged. Beach driving is NOT permitted
• 2.No smoking inside / no pets OR pets only upon application
• 3. Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
• 4. No freecamping. This would be at your own risk and may incur a fine if caught
• 5. Any damage must be reported immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• 6. Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camp 03 668 1211 they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
• 7. Van must come back with bins emptied, and cleared of any rubish. The van should also come back reasonably clean so it can be inspected for damage.
• 8. When not in use, please cut power to Bluetooth, amp and water pump. This will help reduce power consumption from the leisure battery. (these switches are on the control panel in between the seats and are clearly labelled)
• 9. Payment of a deposit will be required within 48 hours of your booking being approved otherwise it may be cancelled.
• 10. And last of all, Make sure you have an awesome time traveling this beautiful country!!

  Oliver is an absolute gem and his Midnight Rider is just as good. Oliver is a fitter and from the quality of the build out you can tell hes a man who knows his craft. Everything we could have needed was there and the likes of the fridge, sink, projector just made our time all the more convenient. Life was comfortable on the road and parked up. The van drives great and was easy to manoeuvre. Oliver couldnt have been more accommodating and easy to communicate with. From the handover to the drop off and everything in between - it was all seamless. I couldnt recommend Oliver and the van enough. In fact I already have to some friends. 10/10

  We absolutely loved our trip! The van is fitted out so that you get maximum bed space while still having a full pull out kitchen area and good storage. The projector is an awesome addition as well. 10 out of 10, we will be back again.

  We hired this camper for 8 days and were genuinely impressed. The setup is incredibly well thought out and had everything we needed, nothing felt missing or overlooked. It drives just like a car, which made long distances and tight spots stress-free. Ollies communication was excellent from start to finish, clear, prompt, and genuinely helpful. The bed was very comfortable, which makes a huge difference on a longer trip. We were honestly too tired most nights to use the projector setup, but from what we saw, Im sure its amazing. The placement of everything is so well designed and practical, its obvious a lot of thought has gone into the build. We were so impressed that I actually asked Ollie to build one for me. That probably says it all. Highly recommend!

  Such an epic van, well fitted out as the owner is a skilled carpenter / joiner. Looks after it. Solid sound system, comfy bed, all the amenities you need and a sleek interior. You dont need powdered sites as it has a decent leisure battery and a multitude of USB types to power all your gadgets. Decent pull out cooking area along with an awning and fold out table / chairs. Also has an epic projector screen that connects to the sound system, so you can watch a movie with surround sound. Made the trip so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Didnt really need it to be self-contained either as most of DOC sites are great in the South Island so that just frees up more space in the van. Highly recommend!

  We had the best 7 days on the south Island in this van. Fully equipped with everything we needed and Ollie was really great ensuring we had everything we needed. This is our first time using camplify and the handovers were easy and unstressed. Highly recommend this comfortable van, especially for the route we took. It was the perfect size van for the NZ roads to see places like Queenstown, Otago Penninsular, Akaroa etc Bonus the van had manual to help with steep hills. Mint, comfortable van. Thanks again Ollie for making it so easy
