Welcome aboard Betsy, your cozy home for the road ahead! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, please take a moment to note these important pointers: 1. Road Compatibility: Betsy loves the open road but is not suited for excessive gravel roads. For her safety and yours, please avoid these paths. Travel past Colville in The Coromandel is out of bounds for Betsy. 2. Adventure Limits: Betsy is adventurous but not a fan of off-roading. Keep her on designated roads to ensure a safe and pleasant trip. 3. Kitchen Safety: Before hitting the road, double-check that all kitchen cabinets are securely closed. This prevents any unexpected swings or spills while driving. 4. Gas Usage: Safety first! Remember to switch the gas off when it's not in use. This simple step keeps Betsy and everyone aboard safe. 5. Fridge Battery Life: The fridge battery is reliable for a day without power but does charge as you drive. For extended stays, we recommend choosing powered campsites to keep everything chilled and fresh. By keeping these guidelines in mind, you're all set for a memorable journey with Betsy. Hiring rules

  • No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
  • Driving on unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
  • No smoking inside / no festivals
  • Hirer age restrictions (25+)
  • Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you’ll risk a cleaning fee.
  • Standard pickup / dropoff times are between 10am 2pm.
  • Any toll roads must be paid by the Hirer.
  • Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.
  • Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 0800 779 779 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
  • Payment of a deposit is required within 24hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise I may cancel it.
  • Travel distance: North Island only unless written pre approval via Camplify messages
  • Fuel – return filled with 91 unleaded fuel. All hires include a full tank upon departure
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
