Hiring rules

• If you have any more questions about Milliepad, please do not hesitate to message me.
• This van is my home on wheels. I will also be your home for a short while, so please treat her as such. Please keep it clean and tidy and be gentle with her.
• Important rules to note:
• NO FREEDOM CAMPING For use at serviced campsites only not permitted for freedom camping. Millie was certified selfcontained in the previous regulations, but I am not planning on doing the full conversion at this time she is too cute a nice to have a permanent toilet throw off her groove! Staying somewhere with toilet/facilities access is a very abundant option.
• COOKING make sure to have proper ventilation while cooking with gas cooker inside the van, open windows, turn on extractor fan, keep van door open
• NO SMOKING inside the vehicle
• NO lighting of candles inside
• NO OFFROAD / No Beach Driving / No Extended Gravel Roads/ No Skifield access roads
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins.
• LONG TRIPS The day rental price includes RUCs (Road Usage Charges) due to Millie being a Diesel Vehicle. Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 200 kilometres a day. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire. This will be averaged out over the duration of hire. Example: 5 days hire 5 x 200km Allowance: 1000km for hire permitted in the rate, additional kms will be charged at 30c per km and deducted on completion of the hire.
• DIESEL FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure
• CLEANING Millie and equipment must return cleaned, emptied grey water/waste water, toilet and rubbish or risk a cleaning fee, min $50.00.
• COOKING GAS All hires include a full tank of gas upon departure. No need to refill upon return.
• DAMAGE Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required. We just ask please be honest, communicate and report it as soon as possible. Followed by sending photos and a description on the camplify messenger.
• EMERGENCY BREAK DOWN Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 0800 779 779 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me!
• ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE Millie has a lot of safety equipment, e.g. tow strap, car jack, jumper battery, but inline with Camplify policies please don't attempt to change tyres or jumpstart unless it is an absolutely emergency situation. Camplify Provides all hirers on the Camplify Platform with national roadside assistance. Hirers call 03 668 1211, Option 4. roadside assistance. (Owners should not call for roadside assistance on behalf of the hirer as they may need to troubleshoot and sort assistance at the hirer's location.)
• ACCIDENT If an accident occurs, get off the road and stay safe. Call Camplify on 0800 779 779 They will call roadside assistance. Then call me!
• Between the time of booking confirmation and hiring out Millie, I will send you a "how to" document which will give you more details :)

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Milliepad was perfect for our 9-day trip! We were at first concerned about the size of the bed as it's not a full double/queen, but it was more than enough and quite comfortable! Milliepad had everything we needed for cooking in addition to heaps of storage space. Sarah was an awesome host at handover and return. Her communication was top notch. We hope to rent Milliepad again in the future!
