Hiring rules

• Van must be returned as tidy as it went out. Cleaning supplies will be supplied.
• Due to
• This includes emptying wastewater, ($15.00 fee attached to returning not emptied)
• Emptying and Cleaning Toilet if used and filling up top flush with fresh water and product. ($150.00 fee if returned, not emptied, and not cleaned)
• Cooker clean ($15.00 fee for dirty cooker)
• All cupboard tops and surfaces and internal cupboards are clean ($30.00 fee for dirty van cupboards)
• Fridge is clean ($40.00 fee for dirty fridge)
• Storage Boxes are Clean and Excess Food removed unless left by agreement of the owner ($40.00 Unclean boxes and messy foodstuffs)
• All floors, including cab, swept out. Back floor wiped clean. ($40.00 messy floors)
• A full 4 liter gas bottle goes out with every hire for the cooker, and three small gas canisters for the small cooker. You are welcome to use these, but please replace what you use.
• Gas Tank must come back with a full tank. If not filled, both the gas, and a $30.00 fee will be added to the hire. Any canisters used and not replaced are $6.00 per canister.
• Kitchen gear/box to be left clean and tidy ($30.00 for unclean kitchen gear)
• Bed linen to be stripped, and placed in cleaning bag. If you have been sent out with 2 sets of linen, as any long hires will be. (over one week) please remake the bed with fresh linen.
• Bed unstripped or not made $30.00
• No Smoking in Van $100.000 Fine if van comes back with a smoke smell to it, or any evidence of smoking in van, ashes or butts. No vaping either.
• No offroading $100.000 fine if van comes back looking like it's been on dirt roads.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  We rented Claires campervan for a month and had a very positive experience. Claire was very helpful and friendly. The van was fully equipped, well-maintained, practical, and included thoughtful upgrades. When we encountered an issue with the water pump, Claire was quick to respond and handled it responsibly. Overall, we were very satisfied with the van and Claires support. We would gladly recommend renting from her.
