We spent 4 great days touring around the Coromandel, and I would definitely recommend motorhoming as a perfect mode for experiencing this great part of the country. We did this through the winter so had no problems finding great approved freedom camping sites in amazing locations. Unfortunately our Motorhome had a pungent smell coming from the toilet, which was unpleasant to put up with. We have let the owner know this when we returned the vehicle. He thinks the best remedy for this is to replace the toilet which obviously has a fault.

Good size for 2 people. Easy to drive. Easy to park.

Van travelled well. Front tyres were bald so we were delayed leaving while they got replaced. Two windows beside bed dont open. Bike rack was handy

Had a great time. Enjoyed being able to stop anywhere. The van was big enough to relax in and very easy to park. Saw some interesting sites. Missed though the launching of a rocket at Mahia peninsula by 2 days which would have been an experience. It apparently shakes the whole region.

Dougs motor home was great for us as a couple, well set up, clean & tidy. We were given a run through before taking that set us up. A few things to remember as with any vehicle , an explanation folder was helpful but need to take notes to make sure you get the details. Travelled well, quite economical too. Bed very comfortable. Doug was very helpful & communication was great.Overall a great hire, would happily hire again .

Doug was excellent to work with. The van was the perfect size for the two of us and was very easy to handle and set up. Great fuel economy too.
