This was the perfect van for us - not too big and not too small. It had everything we needed and Jong was very accommodating with both pick up and drop off. I would highly recommend this van for any couple.

This van is old but works properly. Jong is a good tenant, shes reliable and trusty. Clear information is given. We didnt know about the 9cent/100 of taxes for diesel cars in NZ thats something you need to count on in if you are going to travel for a long period. No engine problems at all, the radio was not working during our rental but this can be fixed. also a couple of liking points due to aging of the hutches. Super confortable to sleep. Definetly will get it again if we come back.

It was a pleasure driving with this van. Both of us enjoyed the camping lifestyle. Jong and Charlie are very friendly and the communication was very good. They life a bit outside of Auckland but with a 30 min Taxi/Uber drive from the city center you will be at their house. There were no mechanical issues with the van. On our first day we recognized a bad tire at the front. We told it Jong and she organized new tires within 2 days. We really recommend this van if you want to travel through New Zealand. Youll have a great time with a fantastic camper van. Ps: If you dont get this van drive to Kumeu/Huapai and go to their Korean/Japanese Restaurant called ,,The Gallery youll enjoy their food!

The van had a couple of issues regarding water for shower and retaining water in tank for kitchen sink but nothing we couldn't deal with, however, my main complaint is that the van is advertised as having AIR CONDITIONING in the living area which is an absolute for us....IT IS NOT...it is a fan working off gas with only a small vent that it comes out of....extremely disappointed. I advise the owners to take off that the van is AIR CONDITIONED as it false advertising and we had no choice but to take the van as is. The other worry is, we had an early flight and needed to hand over the van 5am. They live in a rural area which is hard to get taxis or uber to come to, thankfully the owner took us to the nearest train station. They are lovely people I just think they need to change the advert and find a better alternative for early morning drop offs.

My girlfriend and I hired the van for 7 days. This was our first experience on Camplify and Jong the owner was very friendly and accommodating for our needs/concerns. When we first got it, the van required an extra clean upon pickup (for us extra-clean folk) to be hotel ready for the full 7 days. Not ideal but van needed a deeper clean throughout. Mechanically the van drove great and was great on fuel ($120NZD approx a tank at $2.20L). The shower didnt depense water throughout the trip which we only realised at our first destination. So we couldnt rely on van for a shower but Jong was helpful offering roadside assistance to help. Overall a pleasant experience with a couple of mishaps throughout. Thanks Jong.
