Great van, great host. We travelled to mount cook for a couple of days. The van had everything we needed. Warm linen, pots, pans, chairs, basic pantry, battery system to charge small fridge and phone. Perfect for what we did.

Great 3 week trip in Captain Kipper. Drives well and comfy bed. Great communication with both Scott and Kai - great family. No complaints at all.

This van was perfect for a NZ South Island trip! Very easy to drive and easy to convert to a bed in the back.

I had a lovely month in the van. Communication was good and the owners have been very helpful and friendly. The van is equipped with practically anything you may need on the way, has a comfortable bed and drives great.

Great little van with everything that you need to explore NZ. Simple and efficient setup. Easily converts from a little lounge (which we used on colder nights for dinners) to a compact but cozy bed. The van drives very well (more like a normal wagon. Interior is nice and clean. We are used to travelling with a simple setup (no luxuries) so the small kitchen and fridge won't a problem for us at all, especially considering a reasonable price for this camper. All in all, I would definitely hire it again.

For the purpose of our trip this camper fitted well. There was some teething issues we did incounter which did make us question whether we would go with Captain Kipper vans again however it did suit for 5 days of travel

We had such a wonderful time during our 10 days with this van! It is very easy to drive (and park!) and well-equipped. It was clean and comfortable for both sleeping and hanging out. It is best for places with communal camp kitchens as the van, fridge and stove are on the small side, but it had all we needed to have a great time for a few days 'off-grid' Thanks, Scott!

This van is new to the scene, but served it's purpose for our travels in the south island. Would recommend.
