Our recent campervan trip around the South Island was absolutely fantastic, and Ross and Katherine played a big part in making it such a great experience. Their communication was excellent from start to finishfriendly, clear, and they were very accommodating. The van, Barry, was outstanding. It was incredibly well set up and thoughtfully kitted out with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The bed was especially comfortable, which made such a difference after long days exploring. We also really appreciated the added extras like the kitchen basics and camping chairs. Those little touches made the trip feel easy and relaxedespecially when we used the chairs and table to enjoy a picnic by Lake Pukaki. One of the best things about traveling in Barry was how simple it was to pull up somewhere beautiful, set up quickly, and just soak in the surroundings. Moments like arriving and settling in to enjoy the incredible scenery at Milford Sound are memories well treasure. Thank you, Ross and Katherine, for trusting us with Barry and allowing us to take him on such a memorable adventure. If we return to the area, we would absolutely love to hire the van again and would happily recommend it to others looking for a wonderful campervan experience.

We spent 16 unforgettable days exploring the South Island in Barry, and he was the perfect travel companion. Everything worked flawlessly and felt thoughtfully set up for life on the road. Barry is comfortable, easy to drive, and surprisingly spacious: ideal for a longer road trip. The little extras made a real difference, and you can tell hes been prepared with care. Communication with Katherine & Ross was smooth and easy from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful, and made the whole experience completely stress-free.

We had a fantastic week in Big Barry. Checking in with Ross & Katherine was efficient and thorough. The van was spotless and everything worked perfectly. There was plenty of space and storage, and the little extras such as cooking consumables provided were extremely helpful. Ross & Katherine were flexible with our return time and even delivered an item left behind in the van to us. We could not recommend Big Barry enough.

We had the most fantastic holiday in Big Baz. Ross and Katharine had thought of everything in terms of amenities, even vegemite for toast the van was excellent for a family of 4! Plenty of space and comfy beds. It was set up for our nights off grid too. Big Barry was easy to drive and park. Communication was spot on and Katharine was absolutely lovely to deal with on arrival and departure. We had the best holiday. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our experience with Big Barry The van was immaculately presented and clearly cared for, with exceptional attention to detail that made our trip effortless and comfortable.
