Bowie is a great van! Just the right size for two and just the right size to not worry on the road. It fits in every parking space and it drives like any a bit top heavy car. The engine and automatic transmission are simply Japanese: predictable, reliable, easy. The breaks feel super progressive. Driving wise, the van will never understeer, which I was very surprised by. It will just keep turning into corners like a car. Inside you have the height to be comfortable and absolutely EVERYTHING works. The electrical system is simple and well thought through. The solar panel coupled with the generous battery give you absolute peace of mind. The fridge is super efficient and keeps enough groceries cold to make meals for two/three days. The bed is comfortable and very easy to set up and tear down. The camping chairs and table provided were super practical. The kitchen is easy to operate and has everything you need. Kevin even included some bin bags, dishwasher soap, a sponge, salt, pepper and olive oil. A very thoughtful and much appreciated service! He is a very experienced camper himself and an extremely nice person. Just a lovely, easy going and down to earth guy. Thank you Kevin for making our two week trip with Bowie feel absolutely wonderful! We wish you and Bowie all the best for your future trips around the most beautiful country in the world Ciao!

Bowie was a brilliant van! For handling the NZ roads and for comfort when camping this is great van! Kevin is a great host as well always quick to reply and helpful, we will book this van next time were in NZ for sure!

Bowie was better than we could have imagined. Kevin has a serious background in vanlife and it shows with his practical and efficient van design. The bed was comfortable and accommodating to my slightly above average height. Its an easy to drive automatic. It didnt feel sluggish in the steeper country despite solid fuel economy. I would not hesitate to book again and hope to do so soon. Kevin is an excellent communicator and has good suggestions if you go into your NZ trip without a plan. Make your trip easy, rent this van.

We had an excellent month-long holiday in Bowie the campervan - the van is well outfitted & well cared for .. I would describe it as having everything you need, and nothing that you dont - Kevin communicated well & promptly throughout .. this was an important part of our decision to hire his van - the price was reasonable I recommend this van & working with Kevin !
