LOVELY VAN!! Anthonys van is gorgeous and perfectly set up to give you a fantastic place to stay and travel round NZ. Anthony was super easy to communicate with and has put so much thought into this van down the the finest details. Great cooking set up, made it very easy to make meals, snacks and cakes in the van. Very comfy and cosy. Cant recommend enough.

We rented Anthonys van for a month and the experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Anthony is a fantastic host: very available, responsive, and always happy to help if you have any questions. Communication was smooth and reassuring throughout the entire rental. The van is extremely well maintained, reliable, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a long trip. Everything you need to cook great meals is provided, which is truly comforting on the road! Theres also plenty of storage space, which makes life in the van even easier. You quickly feel at home in it, which makes all the difference over a longer period. Everything matched the description (or was even better!). A huge thank you to Anthony for his trust and kindness. We highly recommend both the van and the host, and we would rent it again without hesitation! Lynn and Nicolas

We had the most incredible time travelling in this van. Anthony and Susanna were wonderful and extremely helpful at all times. The van was so cozy and perfect for our adventures around the South Island. We even took advantage of the baking supplies and made ourselves a cake during our travels! Couldnt have asked for more.

Incredible camper with everything you could possibly need! From UE speaker to mosquito nets, the van is well kitted out. Anthony has thought of everything and cooking in the van is such a joy with all the extra spices and ingredients. Huge fridge (for a camper!) and great sink/washing up setup. Bed is comfy and blackout/insulating blinds work well. Anthony is also very helpful and was available on WhatsApp throughout our trip for any questions.

It was amazing! The van was a great base, really well equipped for everything I needed to explore. The kitchen was just perfect there was something genuinely magical about cooking outside in the fresh air, with the birds, the light, and the quiet around me. Those simple moments became some of the best memories of the trip. Anthony was so helpful with all the information about the van, and that made it instantly feel like a home on wheels. It was cosy and happy in a way that stayed with me the kind of place you look forward to returning to after a day out in the wilderness. Theres such a lovely feeling in travelling around the South Island, meeting new people, finding those quiet camp spots, and then coming home to your warm, comfortable base at the end of the day. It really made the whole holiday extra special. Thank you for a magical break on the South Island Id absolutely book this van again!

The van is amazing. It has all the amenities you could need & more than you can fathom. The bed sleeps fine and there is 2 of everything. The communication with Anthony & Elsie was good and the handover was efficiënt. The one thing I would like to mention is the gas mileage. The van drove, on average, 60L for 400km. This was not advertised (which I can understand)and gave us a bit of a mixed taste. The van is worth it very much, just be aware when planning

I loved every minute of my trip! Its a lovely van, with everything you need! It is really homey and was my little safe space on my trip. The kitchen and everything that comes with it was amazing. I slept really well and felt comfortable. It needs very much fuel though. So you really have to keep it in mind, also because on the west coast gas stations are rare! You need to plan ahead. Communication with Anthony was great. He is very responsive and friendly. His friend, who handed over the van, gave me all the information I needed and was really lovely as well. All in all it was a very unique experience and I loved it.

Overall, very nice trip with Anthony's van! Few minor issues with the van at the beginning (not mechanical), but great communication with Anthony to find solutions. Fuel consumption is high, but that's what you can expect with such campervan. There's a complete booklet to explain how everything works. Solar panel are very efficient, never had to plug the van in a camping in 4 weeks (even with the fridge "on" all time). Bed is big enough and comfy enough for a few weeks, lot of storage space. Would definitely recommend Anthony's van for a roadtrip in NZ!!

What a joy this tiny moving home was. My son and I tootled around the west coast and lingered at the lakes and when the sandflies descended we made use of the indoor kitchen in safety! It was comfortable, well appointed and clearly made with love. Would definitely hire again but for longer! All I would change is maybe taking a kayak along for the ride. Thanks Anthony for a great holiday that well remember forever.
