Even though this was an older van with a lot of kilometers on the clock we had zero technical problems with the van. Everything worked as it should. We enjoyed the holiday tremendously despite the rainy weather. Also the communication and handover with Ted was easy and precise.

The van is not too big but had everything we needed for 2 people, including shower, toilet, 3 way fridge, gas stove and big bed. Its 25 years old but seems well maintained. Weve used campervans before so it wasnt difficult to learn what to do in this one. Had a couple of minor teething issues but Ted was quick to respond. For our budget, it was a good choice. Seems a bit strange that you have to pay extra for pillows, etc, but that seems to be a standard Camplify thing (it was our first time using Camplify so we thought theyd be included). Would happily hire the van again. Used the CamperMate App to find freedom camping. We needed to return with a full gas bottle so we refilled the bottle at Caltex Te Awamutu (cheaper than swapping the bottle).

We had a great holiday around Coromandel in Teds van - it fitted our needs perfectly. Ted was very responsive with a wee glitch we had initially, and we found the van comfortable to travel and stay in. We highly recommend Cube-e-Pie for those happy to take the slow lane and enjoy a van with character and charm.

Cubie exceeded all expectations. A lot bigger and taller than most campers e.g. Toyota Hiace. Very comfortable interior for rainy days. Edward is very friendly and professional.

I was thankful my parents were beside me in their camper, to teach me how the van worked. I did enjoy the experience I had over the two weeks.

The van was a little bit small for 2 persons, if you use the bed like for two persons, there is no space to walk around. And the information about electricity was not to well. And the condition of the van was not 100 %, after a couple of days a reparation was needed to continue the vacation
