Dream Away was a perfect van for our needs - an older couple wanting independence, comfortable sleep and easy of driving. There are hundreds of similar vans for hire in the area but the details made difference for us; Jim & Leane have set the van up very thoughtfully. There was all the efficient equipment for us to cook, entertain ourselves and free-camp as needed and more than enough storage space left over. What also made the difference was Jim & Leanes pleasant and helpful nature, from picking us up from the city, to their patient and informative orientation, to doing all the background work in sourcing a new tyre when we had a puncture. We would be very happy to hire a van from Jim & Leane again. And what a place! We have to come back someday. Many thanks.

Great fun, the van is a few years old, but drove well and was as well equipped as it could be for a van of that size, which was ideal for 2 people. Dealing with waste water, emptying toilet etc was straight forward. Ideal for Freedom Camping, as well as on all other sites.

Leanne's and Jim's motorhome was really, really nice. There was everything you could think of - even hairdryer. Wifi was great extra. Weber bbq brilliant. We rented the e-bikes as well and they were very good. Also helmets were included. Over all a fantastic holiday with Lea! Leena & Ari from Finland

Can't recommend Jim, Leanne and their beautiful motorhome. All the creature comforts, they went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed and were well versed on the how-to's of the van. The van is the perfect size for a family of 4. Our boys are almost fully grown adults and while we did need to shuffle around a little and the boys had to share the 2nd queen bed it really helped make the whole adventure an even better bonding time for our family. Found the van to have plenty of get up and go when needed and surprisingly efficient on fuel. Thanks Leanne and Jim for helping make our New Zealand adventure so memorable.

Dream Away is a great campervan for a single or couple! Very well equipped with everything you need for a wonderful NZ holiday. Leanne and Jim are great hosts, airport pick up and drop off was a bonus very appreciated!

The van is easy to drive, very economical, with many, many features. Extras included like Internet & linen was great. There was hardly anything extra to buy. Fridge/freezer was large. It was all very clean. Jim & Leanne responded to our few calls for guidance very quickly. They collected us & returned us to the airport in a timely, stress free manner. A minor frustration was the small space between bed & toilet (drivers side) & some air in the taps repeatedly. Operating the water heating consistently was a bit of a challenge for us. Overall, we had a fantastic time & the van was really reliable.

We had the most fantastic experience traveling in this motorhome! It was spotless, super comfortable, and truly felt like our little home on wheels. The layout is perfect plenty of room for two people, a cozy bed, and a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking so easy. Everything worked flawlessly, from the heater and shower to all the appliances. The motorhome was a dream to drive and handled long South Island roads beautifully. It gave us so much freedom and comfort during our trip. But what truly made this experience extraordinary were Jim and Leanne. Jim went above and beyond by picking us up and dropping us off at both the airport and our hotel such an incredible convenience after long travel days. And Leanne thought of absolutely everything when stocking the motorhome. It was filled with all the necessities and small touches that made the trip even more enjoyable. We never needed to worry about a thing! Communication was fast, friendly, and helpful the entire time. We felt completely supported and welcomed. We also HIGHLY recommend choosing the most comprehensive insurance option it gave us total peace of mind, especially when traveling long distances. We would 100% rent this motorhome again. If youre planning a New Zealand adventure, look no further this is the perfect motorhome and the perfect hosting team. Truly a 10/10 experience!

Lovely holiday in this van, exceeded expectations. Really clean and very thorough explanations on how to use and operate everything before heading off. She drives great and our sleep was extremely comfortable. Jim & Leanne have thought about more than just the basic essentials which contributed to making our trip as stress free and easy as possible. Would positively recommend and we wouldnt hesitate to be in touch should we be back to see more of the South Island.
